I own a 2006 GMC sierra and know of two other people who have told me about recalls on the 16" ameritrac tires that came standard. Can anyone give me additional info? I can't find anything on the net or anywhere. Thanks.

Tires did not appear on the pick list, so no tire recalls have been issued.

This is the only info I found, but not on 16's. No recalls on the tires although. Call GMC customer assistance, they may be able to help further.
Wear/Vibration/Flat Spotting on some P245/70R17 General Ameritrac. A tire construction change was made to help correct these concerns.
