It is connected to the bracket that attaches the ignition switch to the top of the column by two very small cap screws. You have to remove all the under dash panels and knee bolsters to gain access at it. It is usually easier to get at it if you lower the column by removing all of the column support bolts and nuts. Then you can see it very well as well as the rod that goes up the column and is activated by pulling on the signal lever. Good luck.
