GMC

The truck is in mint condition and seems to run fine. But the code reader is reading a code and it say "knock sensor 1 circut high input(bank 1 or single sensor). Is this something I should worry about before buying the vehicle,or is it and easy fix.

My 98 GMC Z71 steering has a wierd feeling...it is supposed to have speed sensitive steering....sometimes as I am turning it has some resistance and then all of a sudden frees up and I almost oversteer the turn....I thought maybe a slipping belt but no....could the fluid need changing or could it be maybe the pump going bad???...It seems to do it more when the weather is hot than in the winter that is what makes me think it is possibly a fluid problem...Any thoughts??? I was debating with my wife about this topic, she had a 1995 Saturn, and I had a 1995 Lumina. She stated that she no longer sees any 1995 Saturns on the road and that she still sees many 1995 Luminas. I said it is because the probably sold many more Luminas than Saturns. She said when she bought her Saturn the dealer was sold out and she had to wait 5 weeks to get one and she thinks there were more Saturns sold than Luminas. I told her I thought the Lumina was a top seller that year. Where can I find statistical data for auto sales for 1995? Or anything that might help me out. Thanks

I have a 1990 gmc sierra that runs great. It is clearly marked as 3/4 ton, but I was recently told that there is no way it is a 3/4 ton because the wheels only have 6 lugs.

I could not start my Saturn this morning; it would not ever turn over. When I tried another key, it started fine. I have a combination key/fob. Could it be a key problem, or is that just a coincidence?

Hello I have a 1987 Buick Century.....I am trying 2 read the ECm-onboard computer and I shorted circuits A & B and it reads only Code 12(Diagnostic Mode) for the duration....whats the problem...I learned that its Suppose 2 read Code 12 Three Times..Then Display Other Codes....When it is Finished it would Read code 12 to Tell me its Done....2.8 Multiport Fuel Injected...1987 Buick Century...

Two weeks old and battery keeps going dead after 2 days of none use. Used car for one 3000 mile trip and it was fine because being used every day. Replaced battery at my expense because dealer said it was dead. Not true as battery held charge as long as outside of vehicle. Car has a constant drain from battery when checking at battery terminal. Anyone know of fix? Appartently Saturn dealer does not. Thanks
