I need to get the breaks off I know, but how do I remove the rotor?

Take the tire off, the brake caliper bolts and remove the caliper and set it aside, the rotor then slips off or you might have a couple of metal clips holding it on which you just break off. Then you have to spin the big nut in the center of the hub that attaches to the drive axle. Once that is off, tap the drive axle back to break it away from the hub bearing. Then remove the three bolts that hold the bearing to the knuckle. You will have to tap the bearing and the drive axle to loosen them from each other and the knuckle. Good luck.

Take the tire/rim off
take the 2 bolts from the rear of the caliper off
zip tie the caliper up out of the way

The rotor will come off now

Next you need to remove the spindle and knuckle from the truck.

the axle shaft needs to be removed to get it off.

Then there is 3 bolts on the back side of the spindle that let the bearing out -

It needs to be pressed back in there.

The last person to post is correct, but I might suggest breaking the axle nut loose before taking the brakes off.

bearing is not pressed drive on with impact but we have had problems with aftermaket bearings use dealer bearings aftermarket dont seat dealers do
