I was debating with my wife about this topic, she had a 1995 Saturn, and I had a 1995 Lumina. She stated that she no longer sees any 1995 Saturns on the road and that she still sees many 1995 Luminas. I said it is because the probably sold many more Luminas than Saturns. She said when she bought her Saturn the dealer was sold out and she had to wait 5 weeks to get one and she thinks there were more Saturns sold than Luminas. I told her I thought the Lumina was a top seller that year. Where can I find statistical data for auto sales for 1995? Or anything that might help me out. Thanks

GM sells millions of each type of car that it sells. Saturn is not as big as far as units sold. The Lumina was a very popular car so the Lumina far outsold the Saturn. I do not have numbers to back that up, but used to work on all different types of GM cars and we saw tons of Luminas and very rarely saw a Saturn.
