Does the key have the little metal "chip" in the key?

If it does, I would guess that the ignition switch needs to be replaced. There are contacts inside the switch that read the impedance across the metal and if those contacts are worn, or break, the car will not start.

Have it scanned by the dealer. Sounds like a computer. By the way what's a "Dodge Man" doing with an Olds? lol
