GMC is kind of the higher-end than Chevy, kind of like Lincoln is to Ford..... Pretty much the same. The body is mostly the same, the drivetrain is exactly the same. Like said above, just some cosmetic stuff, different grill, steering wheel is usually different, and other crap like that.

on older trucks the gmc truck was a heavier duty than the chevy
