no driving instructor in their right mind would guarantee a pass first time.
the average number of test pupils take at present is 2.4

30 hours in one week is very hard especially if you are not used to driving. and most people take 40 hours plus to pass their tests.

there is no guarantee that you pass first time with any kind of lessons, it is not recommended to do a crash course as most instructors will tell you. if you want to learn to drive it is best to do it gradually say 1 (or more if funds allow it) lesson every week. and i have never heard of it being free the second time.

No guarantee you will pass first time and depends on the driving school as to whether it would be free second time.

That was the case with my motor bike licence, although I passed first time.
I would find out from who ever you take the course with first and don't just think that's how it is as they may all differ
