A man was sick and tired of going to work every day while his wife
stayed home. He wanted her to see what he went through so he prayed:
"Dear Lord:
I go to work every day and put in 8 hours while my wife merely stays at
home. I want her to know what I go through, so please allow her body to
switch with mine for a day. Amen."

God, in his infinite wisdom, granted the man's wish. The next morning, sure enough,
the man awoke as a woman. He arose, cooked breakfast for his mate, awakened the kids,
set out their school clothes, fed them breakfast, packed their lunches,
drove them to school, came home and picked up the dry cleaning,
took it to the cleaners and stopped at the bank to make a deposit, went grocery
shopping, then drove home to put away the groceries, paid the bills and
balanced the cheque book.

He cleaned the cat's litter box and bathed the dog. Then it was already 1 P.M.
and he hurried to make the beds, do the laundry, vacuum, dust, and sweep
and mop the kitchen floor. Ran to the school to pick up the kids and
got into an argument with them on the way home. Set out milk and cookies
and got the kids organized to do their homework, then set up the ironing board
and watched TV while he did the ironing.

At 4:30 he began peeling potatoes and washing vegetables for salad, breaded

the pork chops and snapped fresh beans for supper. After supper, he cleaned
the kitchen, ran the dishwasher, folded laundry, bathed the kids, and
put them to bed.

At 9 P.M. he was exhausted, and though his daily chores weren't finished, he
went to bed where he was expected to make love which he managed to get
through without complaint.

The next morning, he awoke and immediately knelt by the bed and said,
"Lord, I don't know what I was thinking. I was so wrong to envy my wife being
able to stay home all day. Please, oh please, let us trade back."

The Lord, in his infinite wisdom, replied, "My son, I feel you have
learned your lesson and I will be happy to change things back to the way they
were. But, You'll just have to wait nine months, though.'

'You got pregnant last night."

My 23 month old daughter has what's going around--first vomit, then diarrhea and fever. She won't take any liquids or food since lunch--just wants to sleep. I don't want her dehydrated, but she's just exhausted from being up all night long last night from 3am vomitting til 6am. She went to the pediatrician, had a small lunch with tons of soup broth, had diarrhea once and played until 5pm then napped until now (10pm) and still napping but won't eat or drink. What do I do? I want her to rest and recoup, but I don't want her dehydrated or getting another upset stomach from the Motrin for the fever.

My best friend's 16 month old ended up with a temperature of 105 in the afternoon while at day care. They contacted her and her husband. Both work pretty far from the house and from his day care, which is by the house. She rushed as much as she could - in DC during rush hour there is no such thing as rushing given the amount of traffic. She made it there, but by that time, he ended up having a seizure :-( They had not administered tylenol or motrin and they had not clld 911. He was there with a 105 degree temperature for an hour. My gut feeling is that his temp spiked even higher within that hour. To me, it would seem that a temperature of 105 in a 16 month old would warrant a call to 911 for him to be taken to the nearest hospital.

My 16 month old had an ear infection in both ears! He has a liquid antibiotic perscription he needs to take for the next TEN days! It taste like bubble gum, but he refuses to swallow it. We litterally had to hold him still and force him to take it. Half of it ended up all over me and him. What is a better way for him to take his medicine? any tips?

My 15 month old son has had an ear infection with fluid buildup for the past month and a half. He's on his third course of antibiotics (which gave him diarrhea and a horrible rash) and the pediatrician said that if these antibiotics don't work then he will see a ENT who will probably suggest putting tubes in his ears. I believe that there are alternative remedies and surgery would be a last option for us. I have been doing some research and read that chiropractic adjustments have been successful for many children with this problem and I'm just wondering if anyone can give me any more info or tell me of any personal experience? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

My son is turning 3. For his first birthday we had a picnic and it rained. For his 2nd birthday we took him to Chuck-E-Cheese and he loved it! He has been talking about it since! His birthday is in May and we live in Michigan. The weather is so unpredictable here during that time that I don't want to plan something outside, and our house is too small to have family and friends all inside. So I am looking for some good birthday party ideas!

My sons teacher at his daycare said he hits her when he does not get his way. This is not all the time however. She always asks if something changed in his daily routine. However , i have noticed when he is around male members of my family his first instinct is to play fight. Which, they just say he is all boy and he will grow out of this behavior. But I am getting nervous because he will be going to real school very soon and I know that he will not get away with this there. What should I do?

I'm not sure if they make one, but I am in desperate need of a portable baby bed. My son is a toddler and weighs a lot for his age, and when we go somewhere it's hard for me to hold him. But, at the same time there's also nowhere to lay him down. I've thought about inventing an inflatable baby bed for mothers on the go. No one take my idea if it hasn't been invented yet. And if it has, where can I find one?

my daughter (almost 3) ALWAYS screams bloody murder when she has to go to her dad's house "Mommy please don't leave me" and so forth. And I have always felt horrible about it. last time she came back she told me that daddy told her to " touch his boy part" I immediatly took action of course. She said it in front of witnesses including a police officer & gave details. But when they interviewed her they put her in a room with a stranger and naturally she didnt tell her anything. So now they are telling me that because she didnt say it on tape that they are dropping the case and if I don't take her back that I'll be in contempt of court. If I go to jail she will be taken to his house. But I CAN'T TAKE HER BACK THERE! She has no reason to make that up. And I cannot take my baby to someone that is going to ...GGRRR Please help me what do I do Is there anything I can do to help my baby girl I wan to go to his house and commit a felony but I have 2 kids to think about.HELP This is my baby!
