my one year old will eat yogurt and drink his milk and water but he will not eat much else. i am worried because i don't want him to get sick. i know they will let you know when they are hungry but he is eating about 2 meals a day. that is everything combined. i suspect he is getting more teeth but he has gone from eating 3 meals and 3 snacks to 1 meal and 2 snacks if we are lucky. does anyone have any suggestions or opinions that may help? has your child done this same thing?

When I picked my son up at preschool today. The teacher was making ugly faces at me, and said God Bless you with Matthew. (Meaning he is a horrible child.) Then she told me Matthew hit her today because she(the teacher) was teasing him! She said that my son said sorry right after. But she told me that she told him that , that isn't good enough! She said he was totally wrong! I agree that he shouldn't have hit her. But I am really angry that she was teasing him! He was playing soccer and she told him that she was going to take the ball from him. I guess she thought it was funny. So she went to take the ball (teasing him) and he was upset and hit her. And she did admit to me that she was teasing him. If it wasn't close to thevend tof the school year I would pull him out and send him somewhere else! My son was going to another class there last year. Never, Never did I hear anything bad about him! Am I over reacting or was she wrong also. I am going to call the director.

We are going to work on potty training my daughter who is almost 25 mo old. We aren't going to use pull ups they didn't work with my step kids I was there to witness that first hand. I'm going to use real underware during the day maybe the thick underware. My question is she still wakes up wet. But during the day she each time she pees she want the diaper off and changed. During the day I think she will train easy. What should I do during the night still put in diaper or thick underware? Please Moms and Dads Grammys and Papas I need help.

I have a 1 year old who has GERD, normally he nurses ever 1-2 hours. Recently I stopped one of his afternoon nursing sessions and he started to spit up again. So I have gone back to nursing him when he wants rather than distracting him.

I just found out I am pregnant though and I am wondering if any moms have been through this. When your milk changed to colostrum did the GERD get worse? I really don't want to medicate my son.

She stopped drinking ANY milk at age 3 and I was always struggling to get calcium in her (hates cheese and yogurt). Now, I found out she likes whole milk with Ovaltine. She is very active and thin. Just wondering if she should be having 2% or if whole milk was OK.

I have a 13 mo old that only wants babyfood. he wil eat people food if he is not in his highchair, but just like pieces of bread and things like that. in his highchair he won't eat anything i make for him. i've tried everything. i even bought those toddler meals, he hates them.

should i even be trying to get him off babyfood or just wait till he's ready. it's just so $$$ and i was hoping by now he'd be off it.

My 15 months old son is not yet ready to walk. He is still crawling. Is it o.k? If we make him to stand, he simply sits on the floor. What is the ideal age/no. of months for a child to walk or try to walk. I am concerned.

She got in trouble about two weeks ago because she snuck out and and her father went to the party she snuck out to and found her a** drunk. Now just this morning when he went to go check on her she was nowhere to be found. They already reported her phone to the police so they can track her phone calls and who she could possibly be calling. What next?

At what age should you start potty training for a girl?

She's been potty trained for quite a while now and only has accidents at night when she's sleeping. But within the last week, she's started wetting herself in the middle of the day. Today, I had her go potty before her nap, and about 1/2 hr later she had wet herself-but she hadn't even fallen asleep yet. She just laid there and wet herself! She's never done this up until a few days ago. I even took her to the Dr to check for a bladder infection, but he said it's just behavioral. How do I handle this?

I have two (4yrs&1 1/2 yr old) I've never spanked/hit/diciplined the baby. My 4 yr old thinks he is a Power Ranger and Karate Kicks/slams Doors on/ trips/ the baby all day. I first try time out. What a Joke! He stays, but gets up/cries/etc. I tell him if it happens again, he will get his booty smacked. He then showers me with Love,I love you mommy, your the best & I get hugs & kisses. they are very smart at this age. However, I say OK just be a good big brother! All day , I yell & scream (and he tells me "mommy, please dont scream at me" ) He will start Kindergarden this yr and I don't want to smack him every day, so I am now giving him 2 choices, Be nice or go to bed, If its at nite. He also doenst sit at the table and eat his dinner. (since birth, he was never a big eater, he kinda picks for hours) Now , I tell him sit & eat or go to sleep. And I am sticking to it! Its only been a week, but he came back down yesterday & ate all dinner! When your kids hit,did you hit back?

What do you do with a toddler that mooches food off of people all the time? I don`t want him to catch germs..When someone has food in their hands he grunts and points to the person with food and follows them..LOL, he`s cute, that`s what makes it hard to resist. But seriously, he can get sick ..

I have 2 choices today.

#1: Go to a birthday party with my kids to a child we really don't know. He is in my son's class. My son who is 3 1/2 has only been there for 3 months. I haven't even gotten him a present yet. The party is at 3:30 PM. At a park with one of those wooden play areas, where you have to follow your 3 year old around so that he/she dosen't get lost or hurt. And I have to do that while carrying my 2 1/2 month old son around.

2#: We can also go to Turtle Bay ( Check out there web site at: http://www.turtlebay.org to find out what they are all about)
It is a fun place to go and my son can play in the water. We can meet my husband for lunch there too!

So, can you help make up my mind?
Thanks,
Jennifer
