every child is different. i bought a little store bought one that the seat came off and you could put it on the potty. my daughter wouldn't use it unless i put it on the potty then after using it for a week she didn't want it anymore, she just wanted to sit on the big potty all by herself.

I feel that your daughter is also a bit of younger for the three day potty training system. She's not even 2 but, so don't be dissatisfied if it takes greater than three days. I started potty training my daughter when she used to be about 19 months (she just grew to become 2), however i do not consider she would were competent for a 3 day potty training system irrespective of how brilliant. These approaches are mostly more of a leap start to get your kid which you might mostly do on your possess with out paying a crazy amount of cash. Extra energy to you if it works, however i don't think which you can anticipate your child to be "fully" potty expert in three days. Potty training is a procedure and does now not occur over night time. Its viable, but it'll make the effort and there might be accidents (plenty of accidents). I began by means of shopping potty movies (Potty energy, Elmo's Potty Time, etc.) and had her watch them at the same time sitting on the potty. She was once utilising the potty the primary day of coaching. Use plenty of stickers, maybe candy, and most likely tons of hugs and kisses and your daughter might be exceptional.

A little store bought potty their size. Then try this:

Here it is- it has worked for my 2 kids, and others after I tell them........

1. get m and m's handy
2. get a small potty chair
3. get a couple books about potty
4. you need to be home for about 4-5 days straight
5. now you can start. let them run around bare-but
6. Set the timer for 1/2 hour. Tell him/her to sit on the potty for 5 min. (read them a book in the mean time if it's to long for them.) If they go, give lots and lots of praise!!! I mean go crazy!! Give them about 3 m and m's.
7. Set the timer for 1/2 hour
8. Avoid asking the question "you got to go potty?'
9. Timer goes off- ok! What does that mean junior? Time to go potty again he or she would say, or you say it if they don't
10. repeat process all day long. If they go # 2 in the potty, reward with a handful of m and m's. They are very colorful and kids love them!!

11. Praise praise praise. I do spank my kids for behavior problems such as lying, disobedience, and bad attitudes, but never for having an accident. If there is an accident, clean it up queitly, and don't say much at all. Remind them it's ok, but try to make it in the potty next time, or in your own words.

Good luck!!! Hope this helps you. My girl was potty-trained in two days with the method. Took my 2 1/2 year old son a week. Leave pull-ups on them at night just in case.
p.s. if this doen't work at all, try again in a few months.

The little store bought one worked best for my son. He loved having his own potty that was his and only his. Plus, it was the "royal potty" and played a little fanfare everytime he went. He loved it.

Also I had gotten the store bought seat cover for the regular toilet and he didnt like it. He had to tell me when he needed to go and I had to lift him up on it, which was extra steps. Whereas with his little potty he could go whenever he wanted to and before long he would go in it without even informing me which made him feel very independent.

Elmo's Potty Time DVD.
I know there are issues with watching TV but if the focus is on potty training, that little red bugger does the job pretty good.

Its really up to you and your child... but I preferred to use the toilet with a child seat on it. I just didn't want to have to deal with cleaning a little potty... if I had to do that, I might as well be changing a diaper! Just want to flush and have it go away!

If its a girl get a little porta-potty style one but for a boy its nice to use a regular toilet, and put a piece of toilet paper in there and its like a game for them and get him to try to sink the piece of toilet paper!
Good Luck!

My boy is really stubborn but I was able to potty train him in less than 7 days. I used this method I found online http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=297

There own little one is best. Had 3 kids and they tend to be scared of the big toilet even with the add on seat.
