I have 2 choices today.

#1: Go to a birthday party with my kids to a child we really don't know. He is in my son's class. My son who is 3 1/2 has only been there for 3 months. I haven't even gotten him a present yet. The party is at 3:30 PM. At a park with one of those wooden play areas, where you have to follow your 3 year old around so that he/she dosen't get lost or hurt. And I have to do that while carrying my 2 1/2 month old son around.

2#: We can also go to Turtle Bay ( Check out there web site at: http://www.turtlebay.org to find out what they are all about)
It is a fun place to go and my son can play in the water. We can meet my husband for lunch there too!

So, can you help make up my mind?
Thanks,
Jennifer

Gee Stop at the party give the kid a new coloring book and crayons but say you are sorry but you guys "cant" stay as you have to meet your husband and do what you want to the rest of the day.

Go to turtle bay. You or your son aren't close to this child who's having a birthday party. It seems like alot of work for someone else's kid's birthday. You should spend the time with family (your husband). Unless you think that your son will need help making friends, then the party is a good idea. Either way have fun! We're heading to the park today.

It's obvious which choice you'd like. I get the feeling that you're looking for permission. I think I can speak for all of us when I say it's fine if you go to Turtle Bay. LOL Life is short. The second option sounds like a great idea. You don't have an obligation to go to the other child's party. Have a good time!

#2 then #3 for a short time

Sounds like you've already made up your mind.

#1 - go to a crappy unimportant b-day party for someone we don't know

#2 go to something really fun that I'll really enjoy

Ask your son what he'd rather do. He might start to feel left out if everyone from class was at the party and he was the only one not there, or, if you promised him he could go, then you really should take him and keep your promise.

Turtle Bay. No question. If the boy was a real friend of your son's the answer would be different. Plus, if you go to Turtle Bay the kids will have extra daddy time!

I would go with choice #2. It sounds like it is something everyone can enjoy and the child having the party won't miss your son with all the other children that will be there.

Poster paints, crayons, colouring books, gown up clothing and so on.,and so on, - and get them some water resistant clothing and wellies so while the solar does ruin out they might get some clean air without threat of soaking on the way abode! I easily have achieved it with 4 boys and might have my grandsons for a large style of the trip journeys too so my motto is - be arranged : you have six weeks to flow (and with a bit of luck the climate will advance however the forecast isn't till September - while they flow back to college!). solid luck! Joan. particularly take excitement in one yet another's corporation - attempt "I secret agent",making up jokes and thoughts, tell them approximately your toddlers etc etc - you're able to do it! turn the undesirable climate into an asset!

Well sounds like you have your mind made up but I would go with #2! It sounds like a great place and it would be fun for your son to see his daddy too. Have fun!
