My two kids share a room and there is limited space in the closet, so there is quite a bit of clothes in dresser. I just got the closet cleared, so I will be able to hang more clothes, but I will still have the usual dresser items for 2 kids (boy and girl-ages 3 and 1). I was thinking of under the bed storages, but the toddler bed is to close to the ground I think. Are there any creative ideas of what I can do with the clothes, so I can ditch the dresser?
Thank you in advance

He just started last week and cries everytime I have dropped him off. I asked his teacher if he cries all day she said no just for nap time. I am not sure if I should leave him there and have considered taking him out.

My son is almost three and we are going to move him to a big boy bed this week. He currently uses a Nuk, but only if he is in his crib, he loves it and will sometimes sit in his crib just so he can have his Nuk. I don't know if we should take the Nuk away and then move him, or move him and then later take the Nuk away. Any advice?

After being there only a week, her behavior has really changed. I dunno if she was abused by staff/kids or neglected there or if she is angry cuz maybe she thinks we willingly sent her there.
Before she left she was a sweet and well mannered. She always laughed, and played with us. said thank you anytime you gave her something. Hugged and kissed you all the time. conversated as much as she could for that age. When we would come home from work, she would run up to us as fast as she could, calling our name and give us a big hug. When we'd leave she clutch our leg, then finally say bye.
Now she doesn't smile, hardly laughs. she hardly hugs, doesn't kiss, hits, pinches, tortures the cats instead of hugging them. Shes been saying go away and pushing us. Crying spells and tantrums. She wants bottles instead of tipsy cups. Then we heard her say to herself "Get off of me" and owie. She doesn't talk as much, except bad things. When we leave 4 work, she just stares instead of saying bye

My son is 18 mos and he has begun hitting people when he is angry or does not get his way. It is so horrible and i have no clue where he has ever even seen people hit. I have tried time outs, I have tried ignoring him, I have tried just about everything but he is still not getting it. He often plays with his cousin who is 15 mos old and he hits and pushes him all the time. I do not want him to be a nasty child, please help.

Ok we had a family get together and my 5 year old son was insane, hes usually pretty good but he was just out of control last night i yelled at him once and got looks like i was being to hard on him, then i tried talking to him numerous times during the day and he was like "ok" and then ran off and was still being a jerk, calling names to all the guests and not listening to anyone just being obnoxious, the kind of kids i hate, and he just got worse and i was looked at like i was the worst parent in the planet, how do i teach him how to act in situations like this and how do i handle him in that situation without comming off as a jerk picking on his kid? i play rough and joke around with him, should i not be doing this? when were at home and he starts to go too far and i tell him thats enough and he stops and doesnt keep it going i dont even have to yell at him.

I know all children are different and everything will happen when they are ready...but I still think sometimes that my son is "behind". I'm not panicking or stressed out about it, it just crosses my mind sometimes. Does anyone else feel like this?

My son is 12 1/2 months old and says "DaDa", "MaMa", and "YumYum". He can walk holding onto the furniture and your fingers. He can stand by himself, but not walk on his own.

OK.
Do chicken pox have to start out on the stomach and back??
Do children always feel bad when they get them?
I am pretty sure my 4 year olds have Chicken Pox, but they aren't all that sick. They are fussy and have a fever but they still want to play outside. They only have a few little spots. One has like 4 bumps and the other has 7. I know people that have had like 10. The bumps are red with a small blister in the middle. Our doctor says that sounds exactly like chicken pox. So, do they have them?

I was out walking with my 4 year old daughter. She picked up something off the ground and started to put it in her mouth. I took the item away from her and I asked her not to do that. "Why?" my daughter asked. "Because it's been laying outside, you don't know where it's been, At this point, my daughter looked at me with total

admiration and asked, "Wow! How do you know all this stuff?" "Uh," ...I was thinking quickly, "All moms know this stuff. It's on the Mommy Test. You have to know it, or they don't let you

be a Mommy." We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but she was evidently pondering this new information. "Oh...I get it!" she beamed, "So if you don't pass the test you have to be the daddy." "Exactly" I replied back with a big smile on my face and joy in my heart.

Does anyone have any tips for getting poop smell out of carpet? I've tackled this problem before with cats and it took a long time but I got it out with lots of hard work. Yesterday my daughter smeared her poop into the carpet in her room. She has pooped in her room before and it has cleaned up just fine with no after smell... but this time I finally got it cleaned up but the room still smells awful. I don't have enough money to rent a rug doctor until next payday and I just want to get the smell out of there the best I can until I can shampoo the whole carpet. This is definitely disgusting. Toddler poop is definitely harder to clean up than cat and dog poop.

My son is due to start nursery in a few weeks, the handbook given out by the school says that boys should be familiar with using a urinal, but as i am on my own James has always sat to pee & dabbed himself afterwards.
I know that when he sees the other boys doing it he may be ok, but is there anyway i could help him first, I dont wont the other kids making fun of him.

after I leave my daughter's Montessori school I usually hang around in the premises to see the kids play in the play ground. it's been 4 weeks now since my 4 yr old started her school. Last week when I left her I was in my car watching her from outside which she doesn't know. I was there a while and it broke my heart that she was playing by herself and trying to talk to one of the teacher. Before she goes in she usually pick a flower from the front lawn and give it to one of the teacher. She's outgoing and love people, but don't know why she's not playing with other kids just yet.

He takes off, further and further away from me. He has gone up to 150 feet before turning around looking for me. I have raised my voice, I have talked nicely, I use my worry voice, nothing seems to do the trick. He keeps running the other way. It scares me when we are in public places, ie, beach, mall, park, store. I think he thinks its a game. Any ideas to change this habit of just taking off?

My son is at the max weight and height for his convertible car seat (40in tall and 40lbs), but not quite 4yrs old. He is happy in his car seat, and I would personally prefer him to stay in the car seat for added safety. However, I don't want to put him in danger by keeping him in a car seat that he has surpassed the maximum weight and height restrictions. Can he still benefit from the added protection of his car seat, or is it time to use a booster seat?

I have a 13 month old daughter who has a bottle of formual at breakfast, lunch, supper and bedtime. She drinks water and jiuce from a sippy cup throughout the day. I have tried giving her the formual in a sippy cup and a cup but she takes a sip and sticks her tounge out and refusses to drink, it's like it tastes different from a sippy cut. Anything else I can try? How long should I let her go without drinking any liquid if she refusses to drink her formual from the sippy cup?
