Yes. About 5-7 years is the average age kids lose their first teeth. It continues until early adolescense. I lost my first tooth when I was six, and my last one when I was about 10 or 11. Help him understand it's going to hurt to pull it out, but once it's over, take him for ice cream or Chuck-E-Cheese or something. We all got over it, LOL.

anywhere form the age of 6 up till he is 12. of course every child is different and he could start before 6 or not satrt till hes around 7, there is a bit of a gap around 9 when not much happens and at the same age of 6 he willbe getting his first adult molars which appear at the back of the last baby tooth

My friend's son lost his first tooth at his 5th birthday party.

My son lost his first tooth right before he turned 6 years old.

Another friend's daughter lost her first tooth just recently and she'll be 7 in October. Hers was loose for MONTHS before it finally came out.

Between age 5-6 seems to be normal from what I've seen.

My son is 9, and only lost his first four last year - his new ones came straight away.
My daughter is 5 and has lost 4 this year. She does seem to be the first on in her class at school to be gummy!

It is an individual thing. My 7 year old still has all of his milk teeth and none a wobbly.
