Did your parents spank you? Did it leave permanent scars or did it make you a better person?

How should we handle this? It has gotten back to us through the little girl's mother (who we are pretty sure is not mad about the situation, but had heard through the grapevine at the elementary school about the incident, and had to pry it out of her daughter, and just wanted the true download) that they kissed at school a few days ago. Not clear on who initiated it. The little girl says she doesn't remember. The pair are good friends. The fact that he has not said anything to us is a bit of a shock considering that he is known for not being able to keep a secret. We don't want to overreract or blow it out of proportion, but feel that it needs to be addressed. We are worried that 7 is a bit young for this. Are we wrong? How do we address this without coming down too hard or , the opposite and equally possible scenario of laughing about it and taking it too lightly?

I am expected a baby this spring. My 4yr old daughter already know from the beginning. She act kinds of jealousy. For exp: If you hold the baby more than me I going to be jealousy (her exact words) I'm going to kill the baby(she doesn;t said this no more but she could be thinking after the baby come), I want to wear pampers, Should I still let her slept with me after I have the baby or wait. I planning on moving soon. Most people told me to wait because she not going to get used to the new place right away. She want to come to the hospital with me but I told her you have to wait until after the born come.
I know when the baby come.By the way, it is a boy. I have to get used to both of them. I know I'm not the first. How can I spent time with my daughter after the baby comes. I spenting time with her now. But when the baby comes. I won't have that much time with her.
Any advice especially parents that been in that situation or have a child around 4-6yrs old.

My daughter's father and I split as soon as I became pregnant. She is now 9 months old. I initially told her grandparents that I was pregnant via snail mail and they didnt contact me until the baby was 4 months old. When we met they were very nice and gave us money. Every holiday I send pictures and a card and get no response. For christmas, my daughter met her absent father for the first time at 6 months old at her grandparents house. (he was visiting) Once again they were all cordial but sent my child away with NOTHING..no christmas gifts, diapers or anything. An uncle gave my child's father $20 to give to me. I told him to keep it because I felt like I had been insulted. I have been taking care of my baby alone since birth and her family just doesnt do anything. They cant even call to check on her to see if she is ok or to let me know they appreciate the cards and pictures! At this point, I plan to just cut her father and his family out of our lives for good. They just dont seem interested. Do you all think this is a good decision?

I was just wondering what every parents childcare to car payment ratio is. So my question is...how much do you pay per month for childcare vs. car payment.

* If childcare is free. please stat that family member watches the child or whatever.

*If u dont have a car or if car is paid off, please stat as well.

thanks.

I was recently sent a "proposed judgement" for Child Support. Strangely, I found out just ten days later that the non-custodial parent is no longer at his job after ten years +. Am I reading into this or could this be just a coincedent? Will the proposed judgement now change? Do ya think he is going to try and work under the table? I mean, this guy was at the same job for over ten years. Funny though, he had offered me an amount that was just so unreasonable...DCSS actually proposed more than DOUBLE of what he offered.

How can I get an 18 month old to stop hitting my 1 year old son. I watch him in my home and he just started hitting and pushing and even grabbing him and throwing him to the ground. At first because of his age I took him aside and stared him in the eyes and said "No hitting" and that it hurts and its not acceptable. But I realized it wasnt working so I stared putting him on time out for 1 min. That doesnt seem to be working either. He thinks its funny. Because of his age I dont know what works. If you've experianced this with one of you children what did you do to make them stop? Its starting to drive me crazy because he does this almost all day long. And Im not sure about consistency in his home.

I spank my kids on their behinds or on their hands when they are misbehaving. Never hard enough to leave marks because that would be messed up. I'm curious how other parents feel about this and how other parents discipline their own children. I have noticed that my children mind me more when I spank them, as opposed to when I just tell them NO.

Okay here is the strory. I am a 17 year old man and I am getting married on Easter to my girlfriend of two months. We are raising my 3 year old daughter together (we all three live together). After we get married my future wife is going to adopt my daughter. My little girls real mother deserted her with me a year ago and signed away all legal rights to me and my fiancee. Me and my fiancee have decided to raise my daughter as my fiancees real child. In other word we are planning to raise her believeing my fiancee is her real mother. But is this wrong? Should we tell her about her real mother or should we let her believe that my future wife is her rela mom? Help please.

I adopted due to fertility problems. My husband and I don't know what's the appropriate age to bring it up. Our son is only 15 months so we have time... He was adopted in the US and is caucasian like us, so you couldn't tell he is, but he is.

a child if they do somthing you dont like?

example, if your boss asks you to file some paper work and youdont, its not right for boss to slap you if you dont do it. why would you do it to a child. and i know that you are thinking, i dont hit my children that hard but what is not painful to us is to them adn my question to you, why are you hitting your children if your not trying to inflict pain to teach a lesson? what does hitting teach? Fear? Anger? Hate?
what do you think?
remember when you are answering, im just asking for opnion. i was beat brutally by my mother and hugged by my father. i was a very confused child who grew to hate and fear my mother. i never came to her for help, i never respected her or cared what she had to say about life. she was dead to me.

If you visit a clinic or a doctor is it true that he or she have to touch a guy's private place?
I remember about 2 months ago, my mom took me to visit a doctor and it was a female, and i remember that she walked in and said ok please do not freak out but she still had to make sure that i was still a male or something like that.
Question: Why did she still had to touch me in the private place in the first place? Was it to make sure that i still have "erection"?,
Did she wanted me to have a crush on her? I do not understand why she wanted to touch me like that.
Now i think that i have a problem?
Next-time when a girl doctor touches me like that how can i deal with it?

and the older children who do go to school and the parent ends up the one in trouble
