I was reading on my pediatricians website that at the 5 year well exam that they should weight 40lbs. I wouldn't worry she seems right on track.

My daughter is 2 and she weighhs 20lbs. and she is tiny. But my husband is not a tall man and I am not that tall. I think that it is just something to do with the parents or the family. She does not look like she should be walking. I can go to a store and people will ask how old she is and they are just shocked when I tell them that she is 2. Ithink that 5 year olds should weigh around 40 to 48 lbs. I am not sure.

My 5 y/o son weighs 36 lbs. The Dr. has said that he's the right weight for his height. He's in a 6 slim jeans and a 5/6 boys shirts. Though he is in a size 13 (kids size) shoe. He's got his mamma's feet LOL.

My daughter is almost 5 and only weighs 36 pounds. She is on the small side but very healthy. Children come in all different sizes and there is a wide range of "normal"

My four year old weighs about 45 lbs, and my seven year old weighs about the same or a little less. My oldest has always been just a little peanut too. They come in all sizes, and as long as her pediatrician feels she is okay for her weight, I wouldn't worry! Best wishes.

My niece is here and i just weighed her. She is 5 years old 41 inches tall and is 36lbs. She looks healthy, eats good. My son is 3 years and 40 inches tall, he weighs 39lbs. He's doesn't have an ounce of fat. He's just real thick. So as long as you feed her healthy snacks, stay away from too much sugar, it will make her eat less healthy things that make her grow. Basically Just keep her healthy and just as healthy adults weigh different weights so do children.

Mine only weighs 35 pounds. Tiny at birth (6 pounds) and very small boned. Ask the pediatrician, but kids are all different.
