o.k. i'm asking this for a friends older brother...

If he gives up his parental rights does he have to pay child support?

o.k. the guy was married and then they split up when the child was 3 (the wife got the child) well the judge said that the guy had to pay child support AND he gets visitation rights well the last time he seen the child was 6 well child is 15 now, and the guy is STILL paying child support and HE STILL HAS VISITATION RIGHTS… but his ex-wife WILL NOT let his see the child. He lives in VA. his ex and child live in WV. And judges in BOTH wv and va say he has visitation rights… what can he do?

I adopted an 8 month old baby with mairrage the biological mom lost custody of him so me and the hubby have full custody. I'm not sure how to let him no that he isn't my biological son without making him feel different from my other children....or should I even tell him at all??? I mean so many people know and I'm worried that if I don't tell him someone else will and than he will believe his whole life is a lie...

My plan is to just basically tell him that I thought he was such a awsome baby I wanted to be his mama so bad I married his daddy right away! I don't want to say anything bad about his biological mom either....I don't really want to say anything about her unless he asks of course or something to that effect my words aren't quite straight yet but thats about it.

But should I?? should I not???

There are plenty of good names already. We don't need new ones. On the list of stupid names: Taben, DaShawn, Taquisha, LaQuisha, just about anybody on American Idol has a stupid name, Haven, any number of others.
Also, if you want the best answer give me a good example of a stupid name.

Well my daughter is being called cracker, white whore/*****/slut etc by these 2 black boys at her school they are also going around telling people at school she has AIDS and they said they are going to beat her up everyday. SHe came home and told me this last week and I said you need to go to the principal so they can do something about it and she did but all they did was ask them and they said they wasn't doing it and they let it go now my daughter is terrified to go to school. What can I do about this I think if it were the other way around my daughter would be in alot of trouble and people are afraid to do something to help her I don't want my daughter to start skipping school and messing up her life because of these kids.

What am I supposed to do with three little boys? My brother, Kyle, and his wife, Susie, died in a house fire two months ago, it’s taken that long for people to realize they had a will. I just found out that I have to baby proof my house and turn my spare rooms into their rooms. What am I going to do?

I love my nephews, I do, but I’m twenty-one and have no clue where to start with being a mom. Even though I know I’m not taking Susie’s place in their hearts, I am taking over the Motherly role. Tyler is 5, Nick is 21 mo., and Sam is almost 3 mo. Where do I start?

I’m looking for advice to help me baby proof the house; it is two story, 4 bedroom, 2 ½ bath, with kitchen, small dining area, living room, office, pantry, laundry room, garage entrance. It’s bigger then their house was and I don’t know where to start with it. I have a front door, side door (leading to the garage), and back door. I have stairs going upstairs, plus a set that’s behind a door to the attack. It was left to me buy my Aunt, just in case you were wondering.

What do I buy for them? Do I spoil them? Do I not? How do I do this? What kind of clothes do I buy? Do I buy character bedding? I can do the emotional thing with them, my and my brother went through something similar when we were younger. But I have no idea how to do the buying of things for them.

What do I need for Sam? He is so young, is their anything special I need? What about Nick? How do I know it’s age appropriate and not for someone younger? Tyler can tell me what he likes, but what if he likes something that is to old for him?

I just need help, I’m a list person. I need a check list of what to buy, with a side list of what not to buy because it’s over the top or not appropriate for their age.

I get the kids in a few weeks. Thank you for the help.

Allie

Hi, feel happy that you are in rest mode. Everybody is fine here and doing good as well.
I believe no time is ideal. Try to use it in a effective way. If , I am not wrong , very soon you are going to be a mother. So, you need some extra seafty tips. What I feel for you is not to shout and make balance step when you walking.
Your son dosent get you available. So, please, give you level best so, that he can feels you as other moms. Because , you are a service holder.
Hope, see you Sunday till then all the best.
thanks,
jian

After 5 yrs of not dating at all and remaining celebate, I have found someone I truely care about and actually love. My 11 yr old son is thrilled, since it was his idea that I start dating, my daughter on the other hand is having a really tough time with it. Their father lives over 500 miles away, and over the last 5 yrs has had less and less communication since he has remarried and has a new baby- so my daughter is afraid that if I get married ( it is rather early to go there) that she will mess things up. How can I reassure her that she is still my kid and that she will always be loved and that the man in my life will add, rather then take away, to our family life ? Any suggestions will be helpful.

I had my first baby almost 10 months ago & I have been depressed for several months now. I am to scared to see my Dr. because I use to work with him at the hospital and my husband still does. I also know all the other Dr.'s in the area from the hospital, so I feel very awkward about asking any of them about this. I have always been a very strong woman, and have always been able to hide any problems, so I am not good at asking for help from anyone. I don't know how my family would react to something like this and they have enough on their plates anyway. I am sure they would be supportive, but I don't want to put the focus on myself. I really don't know what to do to get over this, I have been trying, but it just seems like I can't accomplish anything. I have a very difficult time even getting out of bed in the mornings. I try to get out of the house, but it seems to take a miracle to get the baby in and out of the car. Does anyone know of something that can help?

My boyfriend and I basically live together. He has custody of his son, and I am the main "female" figure in his life. I have always dreamed about being a mother, but not to long ago I found out I couldn't have children. His son has started calling me "Mommy". At first I cried....I don't want to tell him not to call me mommy, but I don't want his actual "mommy" to get mad that he is calling another woman "mommy". She is a pretty absent part of his life, but I can imagine that it would hurt her. Has anyone been in a situation like this, and if so how did you handle it?
