My husband and l do believe in God. We dont go to church regularly though. Only on Christmas, Easter, ect.... Should we still baptise the baby?
Would we have to go to church more often?
What really does baptising do for the baby, and what are the benefits?
What age should we do it?

This may sound terrible but I have a debate going with a friend ... does everyone think they have the most beautiful children? I know I do. Every child is beautiful in their own way but if someone has a "not so cute" child-do they know it and dont admit it or are they blinded by their love?

I am hoping someone can give me some insight and advice. I am a single mother of a 3 year old biracial son. My son's father and I haven't been together since I got pregnant. My son is 3 and is starting to ask about his daddy alot to the point that he cries about it. I know it is coming from seeing the other kids at daycare whose dad's are involved. I have tried to get his dad involved but he doesn't want to be and won't make any effort. He lives out of state anyway. There is no real bond on his end for my son. It really hurts me to see my son upset about it. What do I say or do to console my son when he is missing a father and male role model in his life? Any suggestions? Thank you for your help!! =)

I am a 24 year old stay at home mom of three. (ages 4, 2, and 1) I only really get out for church and the grocery store. What can I do when the weather is bad to keep the kids and I from going nuts?!

Also, what can I do for "me time"? I don't want to go out and drink, and don't have money to do much of anything.

Please help- I am going to go crazy before I hit 25!

I have a 10 month old baby girl and my husband and I would like to start trying to have another baby this summer. Several women I've talked to are so negative about having more children that it makes me wonder if I'm doing the right thing. I am a professional, but I am only working part-time right now so I can spend lots of time with my baby. Everyone in my profession has either no kids or one. Family is extremely important to me and I will never let my career come before it. I'm just tired of our career/money driven society that can't just relax and enjoy life. I'm curious what other women think. Is it really that terrible having 2 kids two years apart? Am I crazy for wanting more???

When a teenager just doesnt listen to you anymore what should you do. A counsler once told me that when your kid isnt responding to your parently advice anymore or parenting protection that you should try to be their friend and help them see it from that angle. My wife disagrees with me and she says that you always need to be the parent. What do you think?

I'm a 24 year old single mother. My son is 2 1/2 months old. I have been thinking about giving him up for adoption. I miss my old life and I do care about him deeply but feel no real connection. The only problem is my mother says she and my family will never speak to me again if I put him up for adoption. I want the best for my son and I don't think I can give him what he needs. I miss my freedom but don't want to seem selfish. I have never been so unhappy in my life. I have no idea what to do...I want to be happy but I don't want my whole family to hate me. Plus I worry about what my friends and co-workers will think if I give him up. The father wants nothing to do with him. Please no mean replies.

I have always, since i was a kid, been disgusted by people who eat with their mouths open, etc., and I'm appalled to see that a lot of young kids (from about 6 yrs. old), have horrendous eating manners- boys and girls alike. Is this not a thing that parents teach any more? my parents were pretty strict about manners, and all my friends were taught the same ways- why aren't young kids taught to eat properly any more? when will they learn, if not now? i can only imagine them as future CEO's, executives, etc, at a business lunch in 20 years!!

found out they were in fact lies? Do you still believe, and practice them? How is your believing in lies affecting you and your children, or your family and friends? Are you continuing and perpetuating lies to the next generation?

I have contacted the other childs parents and we have agreed that the girls have to return the merchandise to the store and face the consiquenses. They are both scared to death.. my daughter to the point of being sick. I have already talked to the manager and the police are not going to be called ( the girls don't know this). She always has been a very mischievous girl but I had been able to handle her until suddenly she had a great grow spurt. I am 160 cm and my 12 year old daughter is 175 cm and about 20 kg heavier than me and I feel very insecure when I tell off her, she realized of it and doesn't obey me. I don't know what can I do.

Sorry for my bad English

Sometime I get so worried that it is a bad decision to try to raise kids with the way the world is now a days! I mean will they even have a world to live in when they get my age? What will schools be like then? entertainment is such an important factor in our lives today, should that be such a priority? How do I teach them to be intellegent when they are surrounded by so much ignorance and carelessness? is it possible in today's society to be extremely successful and still be a gentle human being?? I doubt that sometimes, is it fair to raise a kid in a world where that's not possible?

My teenage step-daughter is driving me crazy! She is getting more out of control everyday. She lies about where she sleeps-over on the weekends. I saw her pull into our driveway driving her friend’s car without a license! When her dad and I confronted her she called me a liar and started hysterically crying. Her dad was so confused he ended up calling her friend and she confirmed what I saw. We keep grounding her and taking away privileges but as soon as she gets a little freedom she rebels again. Its pretty obvious she blames me for everything wrong in her life and has no problem with disrespecting me to get her way. Honestly, I’m so tired of all her drama I secretly wish she would just live with her mother. To all you step-parents of teens is this normal teen behavior, if so how do you manage to cope with this on a day to day basis?
