found out they were in fact lies? Do you still believe, and practice them? How is your believing in lies affecting you and your children, or your family and friends? Are you continuing and perpetuating lies to the next generation?

Parents should never lie to their children. Just my opinion.

My parents never completely lied to me, just neglected to tell me when they had marital problems, which is something I wouldn't have been able to understand anyway. Therefore, I guess you could say I continue that on, because I am not going to sit down with my 2 year old son and explain that mommy and daddy are angry at each other right now. That would scare, and not help him.
