i babysit a little girl who is an exact year older than my son. she is the same height as my son which is 36 in. (i know my son is tall but she just seems so small). she also only weighs 22 pounds. is this normal. her mother is younger and doesn't feed her well. when she comes here she won't eat veggies, fruit, meat or anything really good. i did just get her to start eating peaches. her teeth are kind of gross and she doesn't know much for her age. she doesn't talk very clear either. i just need to know if this is normal. she goes to the doc. but he must not say anything about her weight or what she eats. i am just kind of worried about her and always have been. she also clings to everyone, even if they don't know who they are. she cries when they leave. she also cries over everything!! even when i comb her hair. her mother hardly ever combs her hair when she comes here. please give me some advice on what i can do for her. or what anyone else thinks about her size and different issues

This is a question for those who are happy with their choice, wheather it's being a parent or being childfree. I do not want to offend those who want to have kids, but cannot, or those who experience an unwanted pregnancy, I am just curious to know what do you like best about your choice? What do you enjoy the most about your life that you could not if you had kids or were pregnant (or if you did not have kids)
I do not have kids, and I love the fact that I can take a weekend trip to London or Paris whenever I feel like it. I also love it that I can have sex in the kitchen in the morning and be as loud as a want. I enjoy it that my work sometimes takes me to 5 different countries in 2 weeks, that I can have expensive glass decorations in the house, and that my abs look awesome in a bikini. I know that the last one is lame and vain, but I was a chubby kid, so I'm very proud of my nice abs.
That do you like best about your choice?

I tried to tell her about periods the other day and she didn't have a clue what I meant even though she is very intelligent. I was 12. I noticed at her birthday a couple of girls smelling of BO which is a sign. So it is around. What should I do?

for sale in Ontario (Barrie,London,Windsor)???
They are priced too good to be true compared to here in Alberta and we are thinking of moving tere instead of paying a whole lot for a whole lot of nothing here.

I am curious why so many homes are for sale there, and who is buying them?
I would like my kid to grow up in a nice home and if it means moving then it means moving...btw, if you live in an of these places can you tell me if it is nice?

I have a 10 year old stepdaughter that I love, but I can't handle the talking back, fighting, sassyness. We talk to her and it seems like it goes in one ear and out the other. If we tell her no then it is a big fight. I don't know what to do anymore.

Indiana paddles and it is legal. I know this because i volunteer at a school that paddles and this school special education school, and there is only kids with disabilities and that is all.

It is not a public or private school i don't think. it is a special school.

Don't say it is illegal because it is legal to do this, and it is not any kids that have no disabilities. okay.

I've always sucked at writing letters. My younger brother lives with me, and I am his guardian, but I don't want to sound like a 14 year old pretending to be a mom in the letter. My brother missed school on Friday, because he was sick. This is what I wrote so far, but I'm not sure how to end it off. Oh yeah, don't tell em to get my mother or something to write it because she doesn't even live with us. lol...

To whom it may concern:

Please excuse my brother, Douglas Crestlock (ID NUMBER: *******) for being absent from school on the day of Friday, December 1st 2006. He had a mild fever on Thursday, and on Friday his fever worsened, and he was unable to attend school. Please allow him to make up all the assignments he missed for that day.
