I totally agree, what parent would condone such behavior. Well I guess there are such, but it just makes me sick!

If it's of any comfort, I'm a teenager (a couple of years older than 15) and wholeheartedly agree about 15 yr-olds/most teenagers not going out and having sex. Sex isn't something one does on a whim and I honestly think 15 is a bit young to fully understand the implications besides the pleasure.

Having sex just for the sake of having it, is an excellent way to acquire irreversible problems.

I don't think a 15 year old should be having sex. They are too young to handle all the consequences in a mature manner. I don't think anybody at any age should have sex unless they know how to do it responsibly. If you are not mature enough to go to Walgreens and buy condoms then you are not mature enough to have sex. If you choose not to wear condoms then you at least need to be able to afford insurance to treat stds and have a steady job so you can support your offspring. I donn't know any 15 yearold who fits that criteria.

I feel that a teen shouldn't be allowed to have sex until they are in their 30's. Realistically that's not going to happen. If your child is 15 and having sex all you can do is make them be safe about it. When my son told me he was having sex I made him buy his own condoms with my money. What is a parent to do? Now that he is 20, I'm glad he practices safe sex.

I don't think that kids of that age are ready for it. They try to grow up so fast that they miss a lot of the lessons they should learn along the way. Having sex that young kinda takes away what little childhood innocence they may have left.

kids shouldn't. I know kids are growing up faster, but that is still too young. Not for the physical aspects of sex but for the consequences and emotional issues.
