I am 12 and went shopping wit my mom and my brother and sister and they were pickin on me so kinda was in bad mood. My mom kept telling me stuff an like naggin me we used get along good but now shes like always mad at me so i started yellin back at her and even tell her 2 shut up and leve me alone. She said i was rilly being rude and yell at me in the store. When i got home she gave me a rilly bad spanking and i had to write about what i did wrong and i was still mad at her cos she didnt lissen to my side!! Was that fair or is she just bein mean???!!

but apparently she's upset some girls at school by dating a former boyfriend of a girl she has known for 3 years now and were considered friends (this girl now has a new boyfriend). she's receiving threatening phone calls, im's, etc. and is afraid to go to school. i've contacted the school and got an "i'm sorry for her problems" comment from her counseler, i'm waiting on word from her dean?!? daughter's not been quite honest with me on "who" these girls were (i found by logging into her msn and checking her "blocked" contacts) and she's upset with me. Yes i told her how i found out who was threatening her, i was honest in that respect, but in "snooping" i was trying to find out who these girls were to look out for her best interest. She says she wants to change high schools (2 in our town) to get away from these threats.

IS THAT THE RIGHT CHOICE?

Do I let her "run away" from her problems? Or should she faces her fears?

parents were no where to be found (except maybe in the store shopping) would you call the cops?
That scenario played out for me one day as I was taking my wife and son shopping at Wal-Mart.
As I applied the park brake, I looked out the windshield of my VW Vanagon and saw in the new, sporty Mustang, a tiny head in the back seat. I spotted another tiny head way down in the front passenger seat as well. As I began to realize that these children were all alone in a very busy parking lot on a weekend, I became angry. "Where the heck are the parents?," I asked my wife.
We discussed the situation for a few moments and then we addressed the children (found there were three kids in the car and the oldest said he was 11, his little sister was maybe three or four, and then there was another little girl who was about seven years old. So what would you have done? Was I wrong to call the police?

I just want your opinion...mothers don't ask much money they prob don't even ask for any...but i think that couples should pay them something too especially since they have years of experience in raising kids as oposed to some young girl babysitter who might not know as much and u must pay her at least $10/hour..whereas u can pay your mom $5 i'm sure she would take anything...old people need money too. i think its is unfair thinking and taking advantage of mothers who have to babysit kids for free...they had enough stress in their lives already.

And they ended up killing him or her. This happened in Fresno,CA.
and they just got him for man slaughter , plus his lawyer tried to
get him out of Juvenal hall, so he can be with parents. When some

my son had his friend kyle over the other day, and i walked in on them playing doctor around eachothers private areas, if you know what i mean... penises.

he was playing with the syringe/needle toys i gave him for his 12th birthday, and i was pretty startled when i walked in on them.

should i spank him, or should i just take away his video games as punishment?

This question in regards to proposition 85, which was just voted down in California requiring that parents be notified before their child has a abortion. I admit I am for the most part against abortion, however I can't for the life of me understand why people wouldn't DEMAND to be aware if their daughter, their CHILD under the age of 18, is going in for any surgical procedure.

Please I don't want to turn this question into a political battlefield, I just want parents views on the subject.

Hi girls,

I have 2 beautiful boys aged 7 & 2. I have this obsession about having 3 kids but everyone around me think they can't cope with 2. I love kids, I know they are a lot of work but I just want to find out:

1. Who has 3 kids, and why did you decide to have 3?
2. How do you find being a mother of 3? Is it costly & exhausting?
3. Would you recommend 3 to anyone who want that?
4. Who couldn't have 3 and why?

Hi am am 34yrs old and i have a 13yr old girl and a 10 yr old boy.
Do you think it's a bit to late for me and my husband to have another child?

Me and my siblings are very close in age and i have always liked that, but if i were to have another child what would they have in common?
The age gap would be quite large, would it be fair on the new addition?
I never really had a set amount of kids i wanted it just worked out that way (never seemed to be the right time!!)

What do you think???

i have 2 girls 7 & 10 every time i set rules they dont follow them. ive tried to talk to them i dont believe in physical punishment . tried taking tv ,puter time away,no friends at my house, they break curfew . careless about school my daughter paid someone to do her homework . the father of the 7year old says its my fault they are this way. im to the point of just giving up ,i try so hard in what ever i do and i get shot down ive been really trying to work with my kids but everyone does thier own thing .my husband says if things dont change then everyone should go thier own way .because me alone willing to change n no one else is willing im really considering other alternatives i feel like the heck with them . im pysically n mentally disabled i cant do it alone

anybody have any funny stories of putting something down someone's crack or seeing others do it?

just for laughs...

haha once I was at a basket ball game, and there was this girl in front of my who had a HUGE butt crack showing. So me and my friend took little bits of granola bar, and we started throwing them at her, seeing if they could go in. that sounds stupid, but it was so funny, especially because the girl didn't notice, and there was a lot of granola in her crack. wonder if she was confused later on? lmao.

My friend is broken hearted because she has to send the child she has cared for for 2 years back to a bad situatuation, her and her husband already adopted her older brother abd was in the process of adopting her , when the Aunt decided to make a claim for this child.
The childs mom is a bad person ..used drugs throughout her several pregnancy's ..left her kids with a legacy of Fetal Alchohol Syndrome, and Hyperactivity and attention deficit disorder and a whole array of other things...and now they have given custody to the Aunt who will of course expose the child to the bad parent again as she see's her regularly.
It's wrong and now they have run out of appeals 2 years later....how can the supreme court make such a bad bad decision and get away with it ? is there nothing my friend could do ? the little boy is so upset that he is losing his sister.....I have no faith in the justice system of Canada ..any others have similar experiences? Can ANYTHING be done now? or is it too late ?

My fiance has 2 kids and I have one. They are fairly young, all under 4, and we want to take classes together to build our parenting/step-parenting skills.
