Since we had our son our life changed. he works more and we have no time to enjoy eachother much. When we do go out it is stressful because of the baby. Lately he has begun to ignore the baby and not want to spend any time with him at all. He willl not take his son out for a walk or shoping or anything without me. Is he going through a stage? Does he resent the child in some way? Is this natural? Will it pass?

Okay she called the school and let them know what had happened. The school called Child Protective services. Her daughter was having a temper-tantrum, she turned to hand the brush to her daughter who was behind her and thats when it hit her face it was an accident. There are no other marks on her daughter or her other 3 children. Does this sound consistant with child abuse?

A child (ages 10-14, step btw, thank goodness I don’t have any biological kids) is acting disrespectfully. Giving you the silent treatment b/c you reminded them to make their bed, tries to argue about everything you say, etc. Do you have to continue through out that day to engage their comments/accommodate their requests for other than food/water/safety? Example: After ignoring you when say three times "I need you to start getting ready for bed, OK?" or "Pls go do your home work.” They wait 5+ minutes and say to you” Watch me! I can do a perfect cartwheel!” or ask you “Where is my soccer ball?” What do you say/do? I've bent myself into a pretzel trying to bond with them, spend time with them, etc. Their folks broke up 7 yrs ago before I met their dad. To answerers: If you’re one of those ppl who thinks Step mom = emotional punching bag, giving machine who has no right to expect common decency from step children I don’t need your input/guilt-trips.

With all the off the wall stuff you see kids doing now-a-days and parents being punished as well, why have people turned their backs on spankings, keep in mind that there is a diffrence is spankings and abuse, you dont hit a 7 year old like you would your 14 year old, and YES some 14 and ever 17year olds need their as* whooped every now and then depending on what they did, the last whooping I got was at 16 for stealing, that one hurt like hell but i deserved it. If a kid cuts up and you ground them and they keep cutting up why wouldnt you try whooping them, some kids respond better to whooping than grounding others respond better to grounding than whooping, some respond just by you gettin mad at them, basically to each his own is what im saying, but why are people so quickly writing spankings out of the book.

i am 18 going to be 19 and just got married it was a spur of the moment thing i went with my bf of 2 months to vegas with some friends and at some point one of his friends said we were like a married couple and my bf just turned around and said why not get married right now and then we kind of did. This was a joke that was taken way too far. If you get married by Elvis in Vegas at a white chapel is it still legal when you get back to NJ?This happened a month ago and we are still really in love but after this we pretended like nothing happened. My parents cant stand him because he is 21 and italian not spanish like they wanted and his parents dont really like me because i am spanish and they want him to date Italian girls. We told them we were engaged after the trip to Vegas. Should i tell my parents what happened?I live with them and commute to school.

hi everyone, long time yahoo answerer here. i just wanted to let you guys know that my time is up as i have questioned your brilliant minds far too much and obtained a point rating of 0. i am going to really miss you guys very much, as i have more numerous friends here over the years. this is my final goodbye and i wish you all the best luck in the world. before i go though i have one story to notifying all you beings on.yesterday i was walking outside with my 8 year old daughter and while we were walking on the sidewalk two guys came up to us and asked us if we wanted to be on the news. they started filming us and asking questions such as "do you like the band goblin cock?" and other likewise horrendous thoughts. i put my earplugs in my daughter but they grabbed me and tied me to a tree. they then asked her if she wanted to be kidnapped but she said no, so they walked away. i wasn't too frightened from this experience but it got worse. as i was untying myself i saw the sky..

that breastfeeding mothers are better than bottle feeding mothers? That breastfeeding creates this bond that no formula using mom can ever have? (How subjective and speculative can you get?) I'll agree on the nutritional aspects as long as the mother is adequately nourished, but the verdict is still out on the transferrence of antibodies directly into the bloodstream from mom to baby via breastmilk. Sadly, humans do not appear to be the type of mammal this synthesis occurs in.

I just want proof that they are better mothers, and they love their offspring more than the rest of us. If you get five researchers and physicians with legit credentials stating this, I'll take a bow. I'm tired of lame rhetoric. I want PROOF. Please put your money were your mouths and ***-umptions are? Show me the proof.

I know some of you out there have done both. Do you love the breastfed baby more? Do you have telekenesis with the breast fed kid, and the formula fed one is so detached from you that he must fill out a requisition form just to tell you he is ill?

Please tell me your experiences.

My boyfriends ex won't let him see his daughter unless he goes to her house and visit. She won't let him just pick the baby up and bring her to his house. It's obvious that she wants him back, but why make the child miss out on a relationship with her father?
Has anyone experienced this?

Please cite the source of your information, provide credible links and I'd prefer an NCBI study (or on that same caliber) but I'll accept a bit of comical propaganda from LLL or one the numerous other batallions of the breast militia.

Thanks in advance.

What moms are tired and want to hibernate for six months, Tired of dieting or sick of useless timeouits for your kids, just swat em like a momma bear??

I wish I was a bear................

If you are a bear you get to hibernate
you do nothing but sleep for 6 months
I could get used to that
And another thing: before you hibernate
you're sapose to eat yourself stupid
that wouldn't bother me either
If your a momma bear
everyone knows you mean business
you swat anyone who bothers your cubs
If your cubs get out of line
you swat them too
Your husband expects you to growl when you wake up.
He expects you to have hairy legs and excess body fat.

Just for laughs.

Yesterday my nephew and I were at home and he came running out of the shower with only his underwear on. It was the funniest thing. I told him to go put his shorts on and when he was walking back his underwear was sagging a bit so I grabbed them from behind and pulled them up. It was the cutest thing, he actually thought it was funny.

Do any of you have similar stories or little games you play around w/the young ones?
