Sometimes you don't spend much time together because you just don't know what to do. My husband and I have this problem a lot. We usually play games together, watch movies, eat a romantic dinner together, and all sorts of things. I mean, if you have a romantic dinner just waiting for a guy they can't just turn it away and refuse to eat. They like surprises too.

Think about what your spouse enjoys doing. Why? Can you reproduce those reasons in an activity with you?

Think about why your spouse doesn't currently spend time with you. Are they valid problems? Fix them.

What is the spouse doing instead?

Working frantically trying to support you?

Spending time doing "his own thing"?

Is he or she busy taking care of your kids?

What's he/she doing that he/she isn't spending time with you?

Need more information to answer this question properly.

You don't say if the two of you have kids and I know they take up a lot of time........Perhaps you should consider spending more time with her instead of the other way around......You have not given enough info to answer this question fairly......Do you want her to go to footy matches with you or spend quiet romantic nights together. .......???
What is your problem?????

????????????????
Your hub doesn't want to spend more time with you?
I'm thoroughly confused. My husband and I can't ever get enough of each other. We don't see each other a lot because he works a lot, but we make do with the time we have.
Make the time you guys spend together more meaningful, and that may help.

Ask someone whom your wife trusts to watch your child now and then....arrange for someone like that to watch your toddler and go for a walk with your wife...it will do her good. It doesn't have to be always dinner reservations (now and then that's very good)...but just doing simple things away from the house just you and her will keep your bond with each other alive.

Find something they enjoy doing... and spend time with them...doing that.
and like every other weekend or month then have them do something with you...take turns...
may it be just a drive in the country...out for brunch...a game..
night at a hotel..food...swimming...a movie..maybe hit a flea market...ect...

Help with housework; help with dinner and cleanup; help with the children; that should give you more time to spend with each other if you both work!!!
