Okay Mommy...time to start letting go a bit. I'm betting that she is your oldest or only one. And I am smiling as I remember my first overnight without my oldest. BELIEVE me...you are having a harder time than she is. She is having fun learning and being with her friends...and she will have TONS to tell you when she gets home!! You know she is safe and warm and well fed and with people you can trust. Get a good book, take a bubble bath with lots of smelly good stuff and pamper yourself a bit. And it is okay to cry a little. Your baby is growing up, this is the first step of many. You want her to be independent and self-sufficient and scouting will give her some great female role models. The first one is always the toughest....hang in there.

I am sure she is having fun and missing yo as well. When I went on my first camp out, I remember missing my mom a few times each day. Like at bed time when she was supposed to tuck me in. She will take notice for what you do for her and she will be happy to come home. Just relax, enjoy your alone time. Go tanning or something. Then when she comes home have a party.

Awww she is doing great. If you miss her that much, become a brownie leader yourself. That way you can be with her. My daughter just turned 3 and I can't wait for her to become a daisy... =) She is fine. Don't fret. PS I have a son also that was in cub scout.. Trust me they don't miss you! Having too much fun too think about it. She'll be fine! =)

It grew to become into ok. i'm attempting to remember muffins as against female Scouts itself. it style of appears like we made little crafts, went on some field journeys and hikes, that style of stuff. It grew to become into thrilling and not undesirable, yet i don't have my young ones in scouts. i think of a extra effective use of time and funds is studying a ability like swimming, dancing, etc. it style of appears like diverse the scouting belongings you have been uncovered to yet on no account incredibly mastered-to illustrate, you knit purely a splash, embroidered purely a splash, made some crafts, yet i think of the time would be extra effective spent at bobbing up one ability to a extra stepped forward point which you will keep for all times. diverse women do muffins and then drop out sometime for the period of female scouts around 5th grade or so. no longer too many women pass onto Cadettes, and least no longer while i grew to become into in it.

If the troop leader is good and has activities to keep them busy, then no. Tonight at lights out it will be a different story.

good for her, i hope she has fun and ISN'T missing you as this would ruin the trip for her - it's friday night grab something alcoholic and put your feet up or go out and have some fun think of it as having a holiday yourself from parental responsibility ..unless of course you have other children to care for

No shes having fun.
She will miss you a bit of course, but she will be too busy to worry too much.
You need to to the same. Treat yourself while shes away.
