i have sole custody of my daughter and will always be her daddy. i cant help but notice she looks nothing like me. i was tdy in in the air force right about the timeframe of my ex's conception period. my daughter looks very similar to one of the nieghbors/friend taht lived and hung out with us. i look at old pics and it just drives me mad to fill that unknowing. I will always be her daddy but if it comes back neg should i just keep it hush or confront the ex? i am just confused and think knowing would calm me. what do think?

My g.friend has a problem
in '88 her n husband met. dating for 4 yrs in highschool. then he left for the A.Force he married a woman that was pregnant @ the time n raised this child as his own. well him n the girl got a divorce n he and my g.friend got back together n married ((here lies her tiff with him)) the child that was left to believe is his is now 12 n my g.friend thinks that she should be told the truth about him not being her daddy. this really didnt start to bother her till they had their own children and doesnt think its fair to the girl not being allowd to know her real father//grandparents that might really want her in their life..
((no the real father was never told that he was a father to a girl, so he never was given a chance to be a daddy to her))
so is it wrong for her to feel that the little girl should be told the truth?
Im a BIG what if?? girl.. what happens when theres a medical problem n its on real fathers side whats gonna happen then?
my vote is NO.

Last year for Christmas I could not give my son very much because I had just left my abusive husband and did not have a job. So I felt relly bad about it. So this year for his birthday I spent well over $300. My mom said that was way to much money for a 5 year old boy, but I feel that I am making up for last Christmas. So please tell me if you think it is to much money.

Am I just having a case of the grass is always greener on the other side or are there women who really enjoy this? Any women with regrets either way? Also, how do you transition back into to the workforce and when is the right time? Did you work while pregnant?

I have had the talk with her, she knows about all the protection available, and I completely trust her. But, my problem is, she is so trusting and innocent, that I'm worried any boy she dates will be able to talk her into anything. Also, I am strict with my children on where they go and when they are to be due back and hourly check ins. But I work all day. I have family available when I am unable to be there when they need to check in. I don't want to give her permission to have sex, but I also don't want her to be a mother at 15. Any ideas, besides a chastity belt with a dead bolt?

The Total Transformation Program is a parent's tool to address behavioural issues in their kids. It's supposed to teach parents to effectively work through inappropriate behaviors with their children. I'm looking for "real" information on it, not their canned testimonials.

She is supposed to do her own laundry but I think she never washes her clothes. She also claims to shower. It's not as if she hasn't been told; rather she seems to not believe us or to even care. She also has very few friends and this might be why. What can a loving aunt do?

Grateful says that a 16 year old dating a 23 year old is worse then a 15 year old forcefully molesting a 14 year old girl against her will..

"what the f*ck kinda person are you besides a huge liar!!!!! i answered both your f*cked up questions, now i have a couple for you. there is a problem with a 23yr old dating a 16 yr old...if i hafta tell you what those problems are, then you are probably the 23 yr old. and for a 15 yr old to be molesting a 14 yr old....unless the 14yr old has a serious mental problem it not rape or molestations its kids being kids. now get you sorry azz off this sight you liar"

He thinks it is okay for teens to molest other teens.

I think he is a molester. If he is, he should be hung.

Are you the kind of parent that helps your children find solutions right away or are you more of the kind that steps back and lets the kids work it out on their own?
