SEEING AS I WAS RAISED THAT ALL PEOPLE ARE EQUIAL NO MATTER THEIR SEXUIAL PREFERANCES OR RACE , I WOULD SUPPORT YOU ANY WAY THAT I COULD. I HOPE THAT YOUR PARENTS ARE JUST AS UNDERSTANDING AS I WOULD BE.
HOPE ALL GOES WELL.

Depending on how your family views homosexuality it might be anger, hurt, or just shock. Make sure before you tell them that you will need their support no matter what and that this is hard for you. Often, mom or dads instict to love you is stronger than anger. The fact that you are ready to tell them is a big step, just try not to be disapointed with their reaction. The first thing they display will not probably be joy that you finally figured things out. Give them time. Most parents want you to be happy, no matter what. Being gay is not a bad thing and you shouldnt feel guilty for feeling that way.. don't let your parents make you feel like you are doing something wrong.

You are still my child and I would love you no matter your sexual preference...I may not agree with it or even like it, but that is NOT for me to decide...The one thing every parent wants for their child is for them to be happy and if that is what makes you happy then so be it

You're not gay, -you're probably confused, inquisitive, antagonistic, or all three.

Grow up.
