Does anyone know of something my wife can take to dry up her breast milk quickly? She's weaned our new baby already, and wants her boobs to get the message.

I just had my daughter six weeks ago and she was six weeks premature so she is just now due. My maternity leave is over and have to take her to day care she only weighs seven pounds I am really scared and dont know how to handle it. The doctor says she will be alright and the daycare is for employees of my work and is right up the road and she will only be there for three hours a day and my husband will be picking her up but I still am not dealing with this well at all.

I am 19 and in college. Im attending a pretty prestigious school and my parents value my education. I JUST found out that I am pregnant. My boyfriend wants me to have the baby. I have been with him for 2 yrs. I live on campus and after school I still live at home. My parents pay for all of my expenses, but I work in the summer. My parents have six other children, but we are wealthy. My mom always told me that if I got pregnant that my parents would support me she always says "There are worse things that could happen then getting pregnant" I want to continue my education.. I want to become a kindergarten teacher. What should I do?

My son will be 3 weeks old tomorrow. He only wakes up three times a night, but he sleeps all day long. Waking every four hours to eat and sometimes I have to wake him to eat. I only ask because I have a thyroid disorder and wonder if I may have passed it down. So is it normal for a newborn to sleep all the time? When he is awake he stays awake 1 to 2 1/2 hours.

What can I do to make sure that I maximize each pump? When I pump, I want my milk production to be at its peak. Can I produce more milk if I eat within an hour of pumping? What about drinking?

my 2.5 month old baby doses not want to sleep, she has nightmares i swear it is not gas, the poor thing is scared to sleep as she wakes up screaming and crying shortly after. she will sleep for a few hours during the day but not enough to keep her from being crabby, she will cry for a long time at bed time and the doctor said it was not colic, i give her mylicon just in case it is a gas problem, but i do get her to burp, and she farts plenty, normal boul movements. i dont know what could be causing the dreams, other than they started after she met her father for the first time a week ago, but i was there the whole viset and he never did any thing that i thought would scare her. i hate to see her so scared and her poor little eyes are red from no sleep, as well as mine. the olny thing i can think of to give us both a peacefull sleep is a sleep aid, do you think that she is to young, would it hurt her, i just dont know what to do, please i nned sleep and my poor baby needs releaf. thanks

Basically, it has been proved to cross over to breastmilk, and hasn't been proven safe or dangerous. I am wondering if there are any nursing mothers who did nurse of stopped nursing while taking Lortab. Thanks!

I nursed my daughter too, but got a normal period after 5 mos, this time no real period, but for the last 2 months, I've had sharp pelvic pain, and every 2 weeks or so I get brownish spotting, my OB says its normal, but I want to know if this is happening to anyone else so I can see how it is normal. No one I know has had this happen to them, plus I still have a clear or whitish discharge daily that has continued since the bleeding stopped after birth. f.y.i.. I am on a progesterone only birth control pill.

A friend of mine is having a baby shower again!! She is having another baby girl after having one a year and a half ago. This will be her fourth child and all girls. This time it's a princess theme. She has plenty of toys, girl clothes, baby story books, and every thing else you can imagine. I want to try to be more creative than giving the usual diapers, wipes, lotion etc...Something that can be used for a long time. I thought about a gift certificate for her and her husband to go out to eat but that can only be used once...any ideas?? Thought about making a diaper cake but I want to do something different. I'm in a creative mood but no ideas. Ohhh and by the way...the shower is in 1 and a half days, so not much time. Thanks in advance for your brilliant ideas!!!

I have tried everything imaginable to get my son to take formula. I am weaning from nursing. He is 10 months old. I am 19 weeks pregnant. I can't physcially nurse him any longer. He will not take formula with a sippy cup, finger fed, spoon fed, bottle or in a cup. Watering it down doesn't work.

The only thing that seems to work is mixing it with his solid foods or juice but that isn't healthy at all ... BUT ... then he isn't getting fluids. He hates water. Won't drink watered down juice and I can't give him just juice all day long .... for the next 3 months.

So my question .... is can i start my son on a nutrition supplement such as pediasure or carnation instant breakfast with soy milk???? Or is he too young? Any suggestions are more than welcome .. thats why I am here ...

I am going to check with his pedi. in two weeks at his well baby check up but thats too far for him to go without proper nutrition so looking for a quick answer here .. thanks in advance
