The best advice I can give is NOT to give your baby a sleep aid. She is definitely too young! Call and get an appointment for her to see her doctor. They will help a lot! Maybe she just wants to be held a little more by her mommy :-) Also, she could still be hungry or she has been overfed. She could also have acid reflux. My daughter had that for months, until she was about 10 1/2 months old. It makes them so uncomfortable. Anyways, take her to the doctor, they will tell you what to do. Hope things get better! I know it is stressful not to get much sleep and have a cranky baby, but remember, she is just a tiny baby and can't help it. Maybe you can get your mom or a trustworthy friend to come and take care of the baby while you take a short nap and get a fresh start. That will work wonders. The baby can feel your stress! Take care and good luck! Hope things get better soon!

I agree with everyone else here, you can't give your child a sleep aid, those are for adults. How does the doctor know it's not colic? Sounds like it to me. I had a very colicky baby and she didn't snap out of it until she was 8 months old. I suggest getting the book The Happiest Baby on the Block. It will give you ideas about swaddling, shushing, and soothing. Hang in there and don't forget, it's ok for you to leave the baby crying and take a shower or something. Babies won't die from crying. But your burn out will cause the baby to be worse, that's what happened to me. Hopefully you can get someone to watch the baby for you so you can have a few hours to yourself, that's what you really need.

how do you know your baby is having nightmares? you need RELIEF. soothe your baby, don't try to tend to her so much if she cries in the middle of the night. that's what babies do. just feed her, burp her and rock her to sleep. give her a pacifier. she's not scared, just deprived. i would think. love on her, soothe her and lay off the medicine, that's probably the problem.

Your not meant to allow your baby sleep in its infant motor vehicle seat for long classes of time which includes interior the direction of the night. It restricts air flow to the baby on an identical time as laying down they might breath completely. i'm no risk-free practices freak whether it makes suited experience and that i does not do it. a lot of docs are actually not up as much as now in motor vehicle seat risk-free practices it fairly is consistently changing because of the fact it relatively does not have plenty to do with being a physician so they don't do the analyze. whether, in case you will possibly prefer to wrap her up interior the bassinet beside you that is totally large/risk-free for as much as 3 months - 3 months is the wide-unfold age/weight that bassinets grow to be risky. so some distance as sleep aids, my wide-unfold practitioner mentioned till 6 months if the baby remains waking up for the duration of the night they nevertheless prefer the nutrition/fat from the night time feedings. So i did not attempt any sleep aids till 6 month. I purely make helpful she is snug in her pajamas, replaced diaper, purely breastfed, room is dark, and to not warm/chilly. It additionally facilitates to have a tub and a rubdown till now mattress because of the fact it relaxes her plenty. My infant continuously enjoyed the to be rocked to sleep or whether I gently rocked her physique she might flow to sleep. She is over 2 a million/2 now and nevertheless has naps, easily she is in a piece of having naps oftentimes/accepted back. like quite a few different individual mentioned my greatest "sleep help" for her replaced into my breasts and rocking. *I repeat back, maximum wide-unfold practitioner do not comprehend as much as date innovations on carseat risk-free practices your extra effective off chatting with somebody with severe awareness in carseats. maximum docs nevertheless think of that is risk-free to instruct young toddlers around at 22lbs while relatively that is safer till 30lbs - 35lbs regardless of their top.
