If a baby is born in prison how long would it stay with the mother. What about new born babies born outside of prison, would they stay with their mum in prison?

Yup, another day another mommy saga! I posted yesterday about how my daughter drastically reduced her milk intake (she's nine months). She went from drinking 30 oz of breastmilk at the sitter to 10 oz. She did eat her solid meals however. Yesterday, it got even worse. She refused to drink altogether - regardless of what was used - her favorite bottle, another type of bottle, tippy cup. And when I say refused, I mean "fight" kicking and screaming. The sitter looked exhausted when I picked her up yesterday. However, when I nursed her, she gobbled up milk as she normally did. Today she refused her morning bottle feed from my husband and he had to stay home from work because he didn't want to subject the sitter to tantrums again. I am thinking that this is a behavioural issue and we don't know what to do. It's like bottle rejection all over again, only now it's at 9 months. She still needs to drink milk and not be totally on solids.

All you hear from everyone is don't let your baby sleep on their tummy b/c of SIDS. Well my son has learned to roll over, and now he rolls over onto his tummy and sleeps that way. We even have one of those sleep positioner things and he manages to get out of it. It freaks me out and I have been getting up so much more during the night to check on him. Has anyone else gone through this?

My husband is 6'2" and I'm 5'10. Our daughter is 40" at 3 years old, and has always been on the tall side. Our son, however, is just a little guy (9 months old, 19lbs and 27.5").

I always thought that large parents had large children and vice-versa. Our pediatrician says he's perfectly healthy, but I'm still a little concernd about his growth.

Has anyone else experienced this with their children?

my family loves to give my children table food when they are still babies and only eating baby food, and they do it without asking knowing we don't approve. What's up with that?

Im 18, I want to have a baby, I truly belive I am ready, I have a wonderful, helpfull husband. We both know we are going to wait a couple of years, but I still want to know the facts and understand as much as possible, we both have good jobs and could afford a baby, but I think I would want to spend as much time in the early years with my baby as I can. What are your opinions about working or staying home, things of that nature?

my daughter is almost 7 months old, she is 28", almost 18lbs. is that somewhat normal, the doc said she is a lil tall, guess she takes after me, im almost 6'. she has been standing on her on while holding on to something right before she turned 6 months, and she loves to stand, she can walk sideways while she is holding on to stuff, what age do they usually start walking? i thinking she will walk really early the way she is doing now. ive already taught her patty-cake, if i start singing it she will start clapping her hand, or make my hands do it, her hands dont always meet but she trys, its so cute. ive also taught her to tell people bye-bye with her hand. she's a smart lil thing, i love her to death. and if i call the house to talk to her she will start sayin dadada, kinda like she is sayin daddy. just wanted to share, she's my first so im kinda excited with everything she does! so am i doing everything right, her weight and everything?

I'm having a difficult time with my lovely baby girl. She is 5 months old and has a cold and chesty cough for which she's taking doctor prescribed medicine. She is in the second day of her medication. I'm trying to feed her her normal formula milk which she is used to and likes but now she just does not want to drink. I've tried various solids today but she just does not want to eat. With formula and solids, she becomes hysterical if i try to force her. She is now drinking a third of her normal intake. Even if she did not feed whilst awake, she almost always fed in her sleep finishing her quota but she is even off this. Its like she has forgotten to latch onto the nipple. Is this normal? Are these symptoms linked to her cold? Even when she had the worst part of her cold, she fed in her sleep albeit slowly. She is happy and hydrated.
