If your baby eats and drinks well and her bowel and bladder are ok dont panic som babies dont put on weight as fast as other's every child is different.like if you take my two girls my oldest eats like a pig but hardly puts on weight when she was your little girls age she was only putting on average about 1oz every two weeks she's five now and still only weighs nearly 3stone.whereas my 8 1/2 month little girl is piling it on and she eats just like my oldest did at that age.if you are really concerned talk to your health visitor she may even get you to see the doc just to be on the safe side.but dont fret every child is different.xx

Just been checking my kids medical book. My first child at 4 and a half months was 7.2 kilos but my second child was 7.2 kilos at 8 and a half months, so a big difference, my second was always underweight and we had to do lots of tests on her to see why, but the docs could not find anything. She is now 6 years old, a bit underweight, but she is healthy and that's the main thing. Try not to worry to much as long as she is gaining and not losing, but ask your doctor at her next check up.

Well, Im not sure how much she weighs in lbs but is she growing? Remember every baby is different. Has the Dr said anything at her well baby check? If there is a concern I would talk to the Dr. When my daughter was that age she weighed about 15 1/2 lbs. You can also go to babycenter.com and it will tell you what percentil she is in.

She sounds fine to me but if you are worried speak to your hv or gp, all babies grow at different rates my little girl is 11 months old and weighs 7.6kg but thats fine for her shes just petite not unhealthy on her chart she is following the 2nd centile so as long as your little one is putting on weight at the rate which is right for her then she will be fine

It does seem a little underweight.

I have a 6 month old girl and she is aroung 20lbs - 9kgs I think.

My advice would be to speak to your local health visitor who will let you know if she is underweight and what you can do about it.

I hope this helps. All the best
