I had a very premature baby. My daughter was born 16 weeks early. The cause.......an incompitant cervix apparently! From 17 weeks my cervix can not cope with the weight of the baby and begins to thin and open. This causes my waters to break and so I go into spontaneous premature labour. It also happened with my little boy at 17 weeks but the docs stopped the labour and stitched my cervix and I went full term. Both my kids are fine now.

I have twins..and twin pregnancies are normally pretty difficult.. mine was no exception. I had an infection that sent me into labor at 32 weeks...they were able to hold that off with a mag drip..And after spending about half my pregnancy on bedrest I had a emergency c-section at 36 weeks because of Toxemia. Both of my twins had a short stint in the nicu.(One for jaundice..one for bloodsugar and breathing problems) but both are healthy and happy now!

I had a my son at 34 weeks and 4 days. I had pre-eclamsia and my doctor said that we needed to have an emergency c-section before I went into seizers. He's almost 7 months now and doing great!
