Oh goodness you know that babe is gonna spend more time in your room than his/her own for the first few months anyway so what difference does it make..With my first I lived in a rental and the nursery room was already pretty with pink and very cute so I didnt have to do it. With my second (a long time ago when ultrasounds werent as good as now) they said I was having a boy so when it was a girl we had to redo the whole room. And with my third we had the room done before he was in kindergarten anyway!!!!!

Hi *Suga-Pop*!! Remember me from Polls & Surveys, the local bar??- lol!! (My photo changed a bit!!)
I have done NOTHING with baby's room at all, and I'm 34 weeks. As I see it, she's going to be sleeping in our room for the first couple of months anyway, so I'll get it ready when she's here!
I have bought all the essentials though, just make sure you have your cot / moses basket for yours, so that if he came early he'd have somewhere to sleep!! Other than that, don't worry about not being on track!
I've got the car seat, pram, moses basket, bath and little clothes all ready! Soooo exciting, not long now hun!!
p.s: R u huuuge?? I am!! And she's dropped...
:-)

Our daughters room wasn't finished until after she came from the hospital. She is only two months old and is sleeping in our room anyway. You've still got plenty of time, so don't panic.
Good Luck with the birth of your baby.

I wouldn't panic yet! You'll probably want the baby in your room for the first few months at least anyway. Just make sure crib or bassinette is set up and ready to go in your room! Congratulations!

I was about 36 weeks along. My daughter never slept in her room until she was six months old though.

Um, i think you're ok. I don't think your child will come to you one day and say 'Mom, why didn't you have my nursery ready when I was born.'
