my daughter is almost 7 months old, she is 28", almost 18lbs. is that somewhat normal, the doc said she is a lil tall, guess she takes after me, im almost 6'. she has been standing on her on while holding on to something right before she turned 6 months, and she loves to stand, she can walk sideways while she is holding on to stuff, what age do they usually start walking? i thinking she will walk really early the way she is doing now. ive already taught her patty-cake, if i start singing it she will start clapping her hand, or make my hands do it, her hands dont always meet but she trys, its so cute. ive also taught her to tell people bye-bye with her hand. she's a smart lil thing, i love her to death. and if i call the house to talk to her she will start sayin dadada, kinda like she is sayin daddy. just wanted to share, she's my first so im kinda excited with everything she does! so am i doing everything right, her weight and everything?

Awwwww, proud daddy :-)

My little girl is the same age...she will be 7 months on Saturday. It's such a fun age ( I think I say that every month LOL) My daughter crawls and pulls herself up to stand but isn't trying to walk yet. A really fun song for you go teach her is If You're Happy and You Know It...my little girl LOVES it.

As for her size, she sounds right on...my daughter is also 28" and is 15lbs, so just a little bit on the petite side...which I am too so it's just fine. Have you started any table foods yet? My daughter has 7 teeth already so we started her on foods like toast, Gerber puffs and wagon wheels, cheerios, diced fruit and veggies...you get the point. She does great with it and LOVES to eat, now she gets super mad if we eat in front of her without giving her something too. Funny how fast they pick up on things :)

Congrats on your angel girl, sounds like you are a wonderful daddy just like my husband is too!

You're doing just fine. She could walk as early as a couple of days to 15 months. Mine started at 10 1/2, 10 and 15 months respectively (last one got carried by everyone so she didn't have to walk) She sounds great. Congrats and good luck, sounds like you're doing everything right.
