Hello!
I just wanted to ask.....
What week were you when you felt your baby move for the first time?
I was just curious.....
I am currently 15 weeks. I know that it's still early for me to feel anything, but I also know that it is entirely possible!
I also know that for first time pregers, it's harder for us to "tell" that what we are feeling is actually the baby, since we've never felt it before!!!!
I am pretty little. 103 lbs. So, I'm hoping that will help in causing me to feel my little peanut sooner rather than later!
But. What about you?
How far along were you when you felt your baby move the first time?

Thanks :)

My daughter will be 9 next month and when I get with my husband she was 3 months old. We have never told her that she was adopted by him, but in the last few weeks this lady that we know has mentioned it to her a few times. Now she hasn't questioned us about it, but I feel we should tell her before she hears it from someone else. My husband is upset that I want to tell her because he said he sees her as his own child and doesnt want to tell her. I've made the decision to tell her and I just dont know how to go about doing it. Has anyone had any situations like this or did this happen to you and how did you handle it.

My reasoning for telling her is that if she does find out from someone else I think it'll be better she hears it from us and with her being so young I dont think it'll affect as much if she was in her teens.

Ok, so it goes.... you'd think I'd have this down by now seeing she is my 3rd, but boy oh boy is she feisty and demanding. She's even more strong willed than my other two were at this age. I feel like I've met my match, my little twin. She was born on my birthday, March 14th. My dad told me when I was her age I used to hold my breath and turn blue when I would get mad. Last night she woke me up and decided she wanted to go into the living room at 2am. I said, "no go back to sleep". She threw the biggest tantrum for 20min. Do you think putting her in her crib when she throws a tantrum during the day is ok or will she then associate her crib with discipline? She's too little to stay in "time out" anywhere else. She sleeps with me at night because she's still nursing so she'll be sleeping with me until we're done with that. How do I deal with her tantrums, and how if possible can I avoid them?

I have been having a pressure/painful sensation when urinating. It is worse at the end to the point where I have to stop and start the flow. I have mentioned it several times to my doctor and he checked me for yeast infection, BV, bladder infection and I don't have any of those. He said it probably is just a symptom of the pregnancy and my uterus on my bladder. But would it start this early. I am just over 18 weeks and this has been a problem for weeks now. It is getting very annoying and uncomfortable. Has anyone else had this happen?

This is a 2 part question

1. Im 3 months pregnant. i live in a 5 room house with 12 year old twin girls Kelsey and Kylie 8 year old son Craig and me and my husband share. I need a place for my incoming son. Should I put Craig in the basement and turn his room into the nursery? But Craig is afraid of the dark? Should I put the twin together, but their the opposite of each other?

2. I'm 3 months pregnant and I want to stay in good shape because my homemade chocolate chips cookies are my midnight cravings. What would be safe for me and my incoming son to do?

I stopped trying to breastfeed when my daughter was 1 1/2 weeks old. It wasn't working for us for many reasons...my milk wasn't as plentiful as she would have liked and my 2 year old son always acting up when I tried to feed her knowing I wasn't as fast to get up and put him in time out were two of the main reasons. She would get frusterated at the lack of milk at first and then she just stopped trying after a few days. I feel like I am a horrible mom for not trying longer but the truth is it was making life hard for us both and I was a weepy mess. I love her so much and wanted to give her all the best. I wanted to be the type of Mom who breastfed their child until the child weaned (like 2 or 3)..... Now I feel like she was cheated. What is your opinion on this?

Say your child breaks a siblings toy - you want them to pay them back but they cannot pay back with money - what do you have them do to repay the debt? I don't want to punish with chores because right now they don't mind helping out. I don't want to make chores a bad thing..... Any ideas?

I am 21, married for 2 years and 14 weeks pregnant. A few weeks ago my dad had mentioned to me that him and my stepmom had a "scare" because she was a few weeks late on her period. I told him that when his oldest kid is getting ready to have a kid of her own, that maybe his baby making days should be over. What do you all think? When should your baby making days be over?

I am not a very religious person. I believe there is a higher power for everyone but I am not sure that it is God. Since I have been pregnant (and I am only 6 1/2 weeks), I have been thinking alot about a baptism and finding a church. I guess it isn't that I dont believe in God, Im just not sure. Do you think that I would be a hypocrit for attending church and having my baby baptized even if I am unsure about my religious views. I just think "Oh Geez - what if I am wrong and damning my child" if I don't do it. Again, please no hateful replies. Spirituality is a journey that we all go on at different paces. I admire you if you are strong in your faith but please don't criticize me for not having that same resilience. I wish I just believed. I am thinking about my child though. My mom forced me to attend church until I was 16 so I feel like I have a good background and I think I want to give that to my child so that he can make an educated decision about his own views. Thanks.

I am having my third boy and Im not gaining weight this pregnancy. I am 5'4''
With my first I weighed 120 and went to 174. (3 YRS LATER)
With my second I was 142 and went to 163 (13 mths later)
I lost all my weight, went to 128. Decided to stop going to the gym and not to diet because we were going to try for another. I weighed 139 when we found out I was pregnant.
Now I am 27 weeks along and I have only gained 4 lbs. My midwife asked me if I have been feeling ok and I have. She also asked me if I have been trying to not gain and just eating very healthy, and I havnt... IM MORE A PIG THEN EVER! LOL
Everywhere I go people barely notice im pregnant or they comment to me that for my third my belly should be huge by now. This makes me worried but my midwife says The baby is showing of perfect size that he is just growing more inside my pelvis then on top. Making my belly look smaller then those with smaller hips.
Anyone have this happen to them and still birth a healthy baby?
TY

my 8 month old , is not eating properly and we found out that she is anemic and started giving her iron drops. she was OK with iron drops for 3 weeks and gained little weight too, but now it is becoming really difficult for us to feed her she is nasiated. I do berest feed her, she goes to poo for at least 8-9 times a day. All this nasuea and poo for 8-9 times do you think it is because of iron drops , I heared some where that iron drops does go with beast milk, can any body help regarding this.

Mothers...I really would like to know when your children started using pillows....i feel my son wants to use one, but he is only 16 months old...i didnt know if it was a bit too young...see he usually goes to bed in his crib, but then he wakes up in the middle of the night and i bring him into my bed and he always wants to be on the pillow....so i thought about giving him his own (maybe it would even help him sleep in his own bed)...but i want to know if there is a "right" age for it....??? Please help me out!

I thought I might be pregnant... hoping, actually. My husband and I have been TTC for 2 years and 1 month now. I already made a doctor's appointment for the 21st of this month.

I was spotting and was hoping that it was due to implantation, but this happened all weekend long (I was due for my period on August 2nd). Finally, this morning, the pink turned to red, although the flow isn't the same as usually, it's lighter. Anyway, I doubt I'm pregnant this time and don't want to take a test because the disappointment would kill me right now.

My question is, when should I start a new BBT chart?

I know a woman who buys Victoria Secret brand bras for her 13 year old daughter. Her argument is that her friends have them--and she doesn't want her to be left out. Is this appropriate?
