Have your husband move his office to the basement, and use the room that was his office for your new baby...
If the basement is good enough for any of your kids, then it's certainly good enough for your husband to work.

Limit your cookie intake to 1 or 2 a day. Increase your veg and fruit intake. Get some exercise by taking your kids on nature walks and playing with them outside. If everyone swims, then take the kids to the pool; hop in the water with them!

Congrats on the pregnancy!

My last cycle was very start of Sept and I didn't find out until Nov. I thought well maybe I was I was really tired and test and got nothing on the test. I went to the hospital even in early Nov for a kindey infection and nothing showed up on my blood work for being preg. Later that month I made a doc visit to go in and get checked out to see where in the world was my period. That week while I was waiting on my blood work to come back in. I went and got to digital EPT and there is was positive. I have no idea when I got pregnant or even if that was a real period I thought I had. Because of this by doctor does not have a 100% time on a due date so we go off what I measure and an u/s that I have had. You should be ok i was smoking and drinked once or twice before I even caught on that hey something isn't right here. I didn't get anything other then being tired until Dec then the morning sickness kicked in. I feel for you girl it scared me to death too hang in there you will alright.

First off, congratulations on your new baby!

As for the room situation...coming from a family of 9, I have experience sharing rooms. When my parents decided to have another child [[I am # 5 and my twin,Lauren, is #6]] we were forced to share a room. We were 11 years old and fought over EVERYTHING. We are identical in looks, but opposite in personality. The room was pretty big, but we were really bummed out. As it turned out, it was the absolute best thing my parents ever did. We are now 18 and going into freshman year of college as dorm room mates. She is my best friend, and sharing a room helped us grow up close. Your girls may not like it at first, but they will soon enjoy late night chats, dressing up for no reason, and having dance parties for two.

As for the cookie cravings, drink lots of water, yoga is popular and water aerobics is great! check your local gym for classes geared towards the pregnant.

I hope you and your family experience all the wonderful joys my family experienced. Good luck with Kelsey and Kylie [[I hated being called 'the twins']] they are going to be fun teenagers!

If you put your son in the basement you have to make it really really cool just for him! With a baby on the way he might be suffering from the forgotten child syndrome that often occurs. Let him pick out stuff for his room, get him a new bed or something super special. Oh, and get a night light and walkie talkies - put one in his room and one in yours until he's comfortable sleeping down there alone.

As far as your cravings go, I think it's okay to eat chocolate when you're pregnant but watch the calories. Try something
half sinful and half healthy like chocolate covered fruit!

Good luck and congrats on the baby bean!

Walking, swimming, yoga, arobics.

I'd put the twins in the basement. Theyre older, and theres two of them so they wont feel so abandoned. The basement should SURELY be large enough for a good size room where they can each have a fair half and plenty of personal space. They are siblings and no matter how different they are they are required to love eachother. Even when sharing a room.

Call a family meeting and talk to your children about what is going on. This change is going to affect your entire family. Be firm that they have no choice in the new baby, he is coming no matter what, but ask them their opinions and what they think should happen. Let them know you value their opinions, thoughts and feelings but ultimately the decision is yours (the adults) as to what happens. You are less likely to meet resistance, regardless of what you do, if your kids are aware of it before hand and in on the solution. It might take some creative ideas, but hopefully it will work out. Whichever children end up sharing rooms, you should make sure they get "alone time" in the room each day, even if it's only 20 minutes.

Since the girls are older, I suggest putting them in the basement. It'd be big enough for two and they wouldn't feel alone down there. They might not like the idea at first, but I'm sure it'll grow on them.

As for the second part of your question, there are a few exercises you may do. Walking, Swimming, dancing and Yoga are a few. Swimming is the best and safest exercise for pregnant women. Walking is one of the best cardiovascular exercises for pregnant women. Swimming is very enjoyable and helps relax you all while working you out. =)

I'd put the girls downstairs, so they are opposite of each other, they can just learn to get along! 8 is to young to be in the basement.
