My cycle has always been very regular, every 28days, with my 5 children, as soon as I was a day late I knew I was preggy. The last year or so my cycle has been every 23 to 26 days, I normally count on 28days from first day of last period an know Im due anytime in the week BEFORE that date. I had my tubes done 4yrs ago during an emergancy C section with my last child. My period was due on Tuesday 7th ( goin by the 28days ) today is Friday 10th an so far nothing!!!! Yesterday an today I have been rather light headed an today I have had alot of cramps,( been gettin cramps for last couple of days ) almost everytime Ive gone to the bathroom Ive expected to find its arrived, still nothing!!!!
The most confusing thing is the last time I even possibly could have got pregnant was bout 4 or 5 days before my last period!
Is pregnacy even possible?

My friend thinks she may be pregnant

She was meant to get her period on Monday (just gone)

What happened was:
She had her last period on 9th July 2007.

I always knew that you start taking the pill on the 1st day of your period, her doctor told her that she could take it 5 days into the period(??!)

She had intercouse on or around 19th July 2007.

She did not complete the pill

She is now 4 days late

What are the chances that she is pregnant.

She has been doing tests and they have all come up negative so far

My brother and his wife are expecting their first child in october and were wanting to call her Amelia Grace (if it was a girl they don't know what they are expecting).

Since that first descision, Mel has gone off the idea as so many people she knows and hears about are calling their girls amelia or grace. My boyfriend's cousin just had a baby girl and called her - Amelia Grace.

A quick look on here confirms that both names are on most people's lists.

Are these names in any TV programes or have there been any celebs having children that they have named either of these? I am not aware of any but then I don't really keep up with the celeb world or watch much TV.

There are the staples of the baby name world that have been popular for a while, but i'm surprised to see such an explosion of two particular names which I would think would be considered more old fashioned.

I had the surgery in January and I wonder if I will be able to breast feed when we have a baby. The dr didnt fully remove nipple and said she kept everything in tact so I would hopefully be able to breast feed one day. Any feedback?

My friend just discovered she is expecting a baby.I think she is too young but some of my friends think otherwise.That got me thinking what is the right or appropriate or acceptable age to get a baby?

When I breastfeed in public, (even when i'm turned away from everyone) there's always guys giving me the googly eyes, trying to catch a glimpse of my nipple.
And, I'm not exactly ugly or fat. Ha.
Whats peoples fascination with it? It's natural!
I don't sit there with my boobs hanging out, and I cover up the best I can.
I also never do it in the presence of children. If that happens, I go to the car, changing room in a store, womens lounge in a resturaunt or store, etc.
I'm not a hooker trying to expose myself.
But if it's 80 degrees out i'm not going to suffocate my child with a big blanket.
And, it will be a cold day in hell when I feed my son in a disgusting dirty germ infested bathroom stall.
What did some of you women do when this would/does happen?

girl or boy, but they need to sound like a cute couple, like sound good together, some classic, some unique, doesn't matter, and middle and last names you think would sound great!!!

My garrulous three and a half year old repeats words when she means "a lot" or repeated but it also crops up in unexpected places:
"The telephone is ringing-ringing"
"I came walking-walking"
"Mama;s sleeping-sleeping" (this at 4am on monday morning!)

Does this indicate a problem?

If you haven't tried it (and actually waited to see the adult height) then don't tell me it doesn't work. I want to know whether or not it was correct for those who tried it.
Supposedly you check the child's height when they turn 2 and then double it to get their adult height. It was right on for my sister and I both (my sis was 35.5" tall at 2 and my mom thought no way would she grow to be that tall...she is now 5'11"!)

I was just thinking about this becuase at my girl's 18 month check-up, she measured 34" which means she'll be at least 5'8" and she still has 6 months to grow.

I have to work in the morning and the nabor wont bring in her two dogs and all they are doing is barking up a storm!!! I don't want to do it if its not safe but I cant fall asleep with all their barking. And it is too late to call my DR.

I called the poliece as it is too late for animal controle to be around, but they told me there is nothing they can do so that wont work. And the nabor wont answer their door.

I was on the computer 5 minutes ago and there was a large tick on the wall and I hit it with the zapper but it did not zap it and it fell into the computer desk area and now it can get on me when I am online or sleeping.
