I went to the ER on the 30th of July, but knew if I was pregnant it happend probably the 23rd of July - that's 7 days after concieving - so my questions are...

1. I told the doctor I could possibly be pregnant, he insisted on a blood test - would it show up in a blood test 7 days after having unprotected sex??

2. Knowing that I may possibly be pregnant, he went ahead and sent me for stomach and chest x-rays - has about 4 stomach x-rays and 3 chest x-rays done...he didn't wait for the pregnancy test results, just sent me in - I told the x-ray tech that I may be pregnant (she didn't even ask) - and she said that it was okay and went ahead and did what she was told to do - since then I've been having terrible cramping....no spotting just cramping..

well the blood test came back negative at the end of the night, just 7 days after unprotected sex....was it too early to tell?? I am a week late for my period now, and home pregnancy tests are still showing negative as of 4 days ago..

I can pretty much control which side he leans on during the day. Tonight, I've decided to prop him on his side with a rolled up blanket against his back so he will stay on that side. It appears to look safe. What do ya'll think? Also, is it still correctible? My doctor just pointed it out at his 4 month check up. I hadn't really noticed. I feel horrible like it's my fault.

My younger brother & his ex-gf have a baby on the way. She says that the court will make him pay child support even if she doesn't file for it or want it because she is on Medicaid. Is this true?

I am 14. My sister is 11. This morning I bumped into my sister by accident and said sorry. She didn't answer me. I said sorry again for at least 5 more times and she still didn't answer. She was mad at me that I bumped into her & didn't talk to me for the whole day. I felt bad for the whole day because I didn't mean to bump her. I didn't want her to be mad at me for that. I told my parents when they came home and they were upset at me for worrying about "little" things and said I should grow up & worry about mature things. I explained to them that I wasn't immature. I was that way because I love my sister and want her to be happy. They still said I am immature. They said I should stop hanging out with friends because I am getting more wild and difficult. They said I can't go to my best friend's party this Saturday because I care about my sister and want to say sorry. Have you ever get punished for being caring? Is this reasonable?

i always make sure he's well burped, diaper not wet, try giving him his pacifier. but he's still real fussy like he wants more milk.. the doctors have him on a soy formula, i was also kind of curious if the texture was lighter and therefore making him require more??? any help would be greatly appreciated!

yesterday i had to go to the hospital to check if i was already dilated as i was had back pains and my lower abdomen was hurting, they said i had a 1 cm opening. Two days ago i went o the doctor and she said the baby's head was already engaged...This morning i woke up feeling like i'm going to have my period...both my legs are a bit numb and i have a lower back pain much like when you're going to have dysmennorhea. I also have brown mucus like discharges.

My question is, is this normal?, Am i going to go into labor soon?, what are these brown discharge i'm seeing?

Do you like this name? Jamié Lynn or Jamié Lin. Jamié is pronounce Zha-Mee-Ay and Lynn/Lin is pronounced Len. Which Lynn/Lin looks more appealing with Jamié? I am 37 weeks and found out this week that I was 3cm dilated and 80% thinned. I am having 6-10 contractions an hour but they are not real painful yet. Is this a sign that labor is comming real quick or could it still be a while?

My husband is leaving for 4 months and I am looking for some ways to pass the time with my children. (newborn and 2 1/2) I'm a stay at home mom so I tend to get pretty lonely even when my hubby is just working. We have about three hours that we need to fill a day in our schedule, preferably something outside of the home. I'm trying to find atleast 6 different activities that we can rotate throughout the weeks. So far I have came up with library and the park. Please any other suggestions?

Because your not letting them drink soda, they will wind up drinking more in the future. I've never really been restricted, and I barelly drink soda at all and I'm really healthy. I have known many kids who are restricted to soda, and when they're aloud to drink it, they inhale it! They thinks they're so cool drinking soda and do it when ever they can to feel cool. If someone offers me one I'll only have one like 25% of the time. (estimating) So if you gradually let them drink a bit, they'll be less tempted to drink so much in the future.
