I'm working and i'm pregnant can anyone tell me when is the good time to leave, also someone told me you can get disability three months before giving birth is it true? and what do i need to do to get that

Im really against taking meds when pregnant, I wouldent even take tums with my first two. I cant sleep though. We have been thinking about having another child but I dont know how to handle the nights of tossing and turning in bed and going to work the next day.

Kids are going to eat all the junk food you allow anywhere near them. Ultimately, parents are responsible for their childrens' eating habits. So considering all the health risks of obesity, are parents, in theory, abusing their children by allowing them to become obese?

I heard it does. I heard this is one time where the woman goes through even worse pain than any guy who's gotten it where it hurts and rolled around on the floor in pain.


Is this true?

Is this especially true when the woman gives birth to a baby that weights at least 9 pounds?

I am 8 months pregnant and I just got my latest ultra sound and they said the babys head is measuring unusually big. My boyfriend said that that could be a sign that the baby has down syndrome. Could he be right?

I went to the doc office and had a +ve preg result that showed i was 3wks preg; i was suppose to start my period yesterday 8/8; but to my surprise this morning I started spotting; am not sure what's going on; i did call the doc office right away, and i was asked to do blood work whose result won't be available until the next day; can someone in the medical history help explain what's going; this is my third, i lost the previous two - one was at 4wks, the other was at 12wks and i had to do D&C after my body did not get rid of it. Please am really nervous and scared. Thanks for all your responses

My friend's child is exactly 24 months old and she weighs 43lbs. She is of average height for her age. My daughter at 24 months weighed 28lbs and now at 36 months my daughter weighs 35lbs. What is an average weight for a 2 year old...does anyone know? Thx!

My partner was a forumla-fed baby who had solids from as young as 5 & a half weeks!!!

He has hayfever, but no food allergies. Is there any other possible complications that giving solids too early could have caused?

HI, I am 37 weeks pregnant and have been having contractions since yesterday (22 hours) They started out about 1/2 hour apart and are now about every 10 min apart. They last for about one min. They are more painful then earlier too. I lost my mucus plug a week ago. My water has not broken, and I have had a bloody show from a pelvic exam yesterday so I dont know if the blood was from the exam or it was an actual bloody show. Do you think I am in labor? How long will it take for the contractions to get to five min apart? I know to go to the hospital when they are five min apart. Am I just getting excited over nothing?

How many of yall women when yall found out you were pregnant GOT SO EXICTED and couldnt WAIT to start your pregnancy ... Then after your first month is over you start to experience the downside of pregnancy... The Nausea and the tiredness and the more eating and the most nasty thing of all DIARRHEA from those pre- vitamins...and then thought to your self HOW am i going to do this for another 7-8 months??? HAHA if so answer BACK i would like to hear from you.... My boyfriend and I are NOT trying to conceive, and I am on Lutera birth control. We had sex on a "safe" day (July 31..one week & 2 days ago..about 2-3 days after last day of period) by means of my birth control as protection only..no condom. Because I am ovulating this week, we have had no had sex, but I noticed when I wiped yesterday (during a fertile day), there was slight brown spotting (mucus-like, but not a lot..sorry for being graphic!) on the toilet paper..This happened again today too several times.
Now I'm freaking out because I think I may be pregnant. I bought a home pregnancy test, but I'm afraid it may be too soon to take it for accurate results. Is this a sure sign of pregnancy? Is it too early to experience spotting and/or symptoms?
I would like real answers, please. I am a mature, 29 year old female who has been in a very long-term relationship, and I am very in-tune with my body and fertile/unfertile days..Please spare me the "no condom" lecture..Thanks in advance!!

Counting from my LMP I will be 14 weeks on monday.
When I was 8 weeks I had an early ultrsound due to some bleeding, they didn't mention anything about dates. I had my doctor appointment the other day and she looked at the ultrasound and changed my due date which will make me 13 weeks on Tuesday.

Since a due date is only an estimate and can be 2 weeks out either way, is it really a big deal if I stick with my calculations. I like my original due date better (valentine's day LOL) and don't want to go back a week. I am so excited about this pregnancy and ready up every week how my bub is developing etc. I know that in the long run the doctor is right but sooner or later it's all gonna be the same or close enough Right?
