Nice question lol.
It took 13 months to concieve and I was over the moon.

The first 12 weeks was a living nightmare, if I wasn't sleeping, eating, or hoving around a bucket, I was moaning about my ligamant pain, public bone pain, and joint pain! Oh and the crying.. and the anger..don't touch my ice cream :-p
and awful constipation, followed by the runs.

Then I had a week off the tiredness, and I thought everything would start to subside and I was starting to perk up... but NOW at 14 weeks EVERYTHING has come back and has hit me like a ton of bricks :-( :-(

What has got me through it so far I think, is a sense of humour and the thought of that little bundle of joy with me in no time at all.. really it's not long.. it's so long - help!!
Now where's that ice cream..

With my first pregnancy I was so sick already at 5 weeks and I remember thinking I couldn't go until 12 weeks feeling that way. i even told my husband that if I miscarrued I wouldn't want to try again for a long time because of how bad I felt. I started feeling betetr at 10 weeks and by 12 weeks I was all better. When i was in the 3rd trimester I remember thinking the first trimester seemed like a completely different time period, and that I had no idea of all the great things to come. Now I'm 6 and a half weeks and I feel no nausea and I hope it stays this way

This is so funny...my husband and I were so excited and could not wait for the baby. I am now almost 13 weeks and still sick morning noon and night. If I hear anyone else say that their pregnancy was a breeze and they never got sick I literaly think I will hit them (I probably won't but it gets really irratating). The only thing giving me hope right now is my dr appointment on Monday to get some tips for this sickness and also all the books say that I should start feeling better soon. I am just like you, I am so excited for my baby to come and worked hard at conceiving but this is not what I had in mind for an easy breezey pregnancy that everyone talks about. :) Good luck to you...my best wishes...

My first pregnancy was the worst throwing up morning noon and night, headaches, asthma acted up, hospitalized for dehydration and bronchitis. Was so sick up until my 8th month gained a total of 5 lbs. drs. kept telling me to stop starving myself...lol. Are they insane if they paid any attention to my records they'd see something was wrong. Finally in my last month my family dr. who took care of me since I was born fixed me made healthy and I gained 10 lbs gave birth to a healthy baby girl. My last 2 preg. were a breeze after all that had healthy boys. Just hang in there. Good luck and congrats.
