or why people have more sexual intercourse during decemebr ? whats going on in that month of year which encourage people to do so

Hi,
We have just come back from the doctors. my husband came into the appointment with me, and my doctor asked if we would like various tests which test for Down Syndrome. I said yes and am very greatful that this is available to us. I said however that I don't want to have an Amniocentisis as this can cause miscarriage. When we left I asked my husband what he thought about the tests and what he would want to do if it came back as high risk. He said that if that happened he would want us to have an abortion. I am furious. I know people have different views on this but I would never have an abortion for that reason. ijust want the tests so I can educate myself and prepare if needed.
I'm now seeing my husband in a different light and so confused.
Has anyone else been in this situation?

My boy was born 9 months ago and it triggered severe fibromyalgia. I am taking strong painkillers at the moment to help me cope. This is the easy way out. I am on Venlor XR that helps great with depression, anxiety and tiredness. The rhumatologist wants to put me on another antidepressant and 50 mg Elavil. I really get depressed when I change my meds and want to stay on painkillers for now. Would I ever be able to raise another child or should I stay with just one. It is winter here in SA and I decided to wait till summer and see if the symptoms gets better. Any moms with fibro and how do you cope?

Ok, so I found out I'm having twin girls. Yay! My husband and I had already decided on Emily before we found out that our baby girl is going to be our baby girlS, so we're keeping that name. My problem is what to name the other baby. I really like the name Eden, but I'm concerned that it may sound too exotic next to Emily.
I had a friend in college, Jessica, who had a sister name Genevieve. Although Jessica was one of the most talented artists I have ever met, she lived with the opinion that her sister was smarter, prettier, and more talented than she could ever be. I don't want my daughter going through life like that.
So my question is should we name the other girl Eden or go with something a little more conventional like Rebecca?

Ok, I'm HUGE. I really don't care if after having a baby I'm overweight, so this isn't a vainity question. My doctor says it is fine for my to continue being Vegan through my pregnancy, and gave me extra supliments. I've gained a ton, it's all in my belly, but SERIOUSLY... I've gained SIX INCHES in my waist, according to my measurements for the last skirt i sewed about a month before I got pregnant. My belly feels very tight, i guess kind of like it is "hard", and is very rounded. I don't know how much weight I've gained becuase i rarely weigh myself... but I can't fit into a sinlge thing i owned before the pregnancy, not even sweatpants... they are way too tight, and then slide right off my round round pregnant belly! Is this normal? I'm going shopping for maternity clothes this weekend with a friend, and I'm wondering if I'm goign to be in the third trimester clothes already!
I jsut want to know if everybody gets so big so fast! Or maybe I'm just having a huge baby? lol...

Im due in2weeks Ive been through a rough marriage left my husband he has anger and drinking problems. I was going to all my Dr appointments of course on the side of town where I was living mith my husband,now Im back at my parents. There is a hospital right across the street from where my parents live, I am still driving to my ob/gyns office which is about 45minutes away. I dont plant to have my parents drive for 45minutes when labor hits. Can I just go to the hospital right across the street when I go into labor? Is this going to be a problem or an issue since I wont have a Dr there? I havent told my Dr anything about me not planning to having my baby over at the hospital where I was going to deliver before all these problems came along,she may think that I already had this planned, and I just used her and now going elsewhere Im confused since I wont have a Dr to attend me, im concerned since shes the one that has seen me through my whole pregnancy, shes too far from my parents hom

Im on answers constantly answering questions of little kids having sex... do any of you ever tell your children that sex isn't for boys and girls, sex is for a married couple who want children? Breasts are for babies and real love is worth putting sex on hold for? I haven't seen one responsible child on here yet, I don't understand how so many young kids get pregnant... sex is for adults, with a healthy relationship and a paid for house who want children... not babies having babies... are there any parents out here who understand where I'm coming from? If your child got pregnant early, why do you think that happened?

He is too lazy to read and write. Whenever he opens his books, he gets sleepy, gets hungry, go to washroom, etc... He is a very bright boy normally with A & A+. Still his reading habits are very poor and writes very very slow. That makes his grades down at times. We tried to motivate him, laid rules, but all failed.

What is the solution for this?

My girlfriend and i were fooling around about 2 weeks ago, playing with each other until i ejaculated, she caught most of the semen in her hands then rushed downstairs. I followed soon after thinking she went to wash it off, but unbeknown to me she wanted to get pregnant and stuck her semen covered fingers inside herself (only briefly, and i don't know how far). i put up a message late last night about just expressing how desperate i am for this to end...i thought is would pass but i feel worse than ever.
i was due yesterday and went for a sweep but felt no different. i had one last week and the next day lost a bloody mucus plug (although the m/w this was probably because of the sweep)...i feel no different and feel like it's never going to end. i'm now 50% effaced and 1-2cm dilated but don't know what this means anymore.
my m/w is so laid back and just said to wait and see, she reckons because the head is so low i have an 80% chance of not being induced but i hate this uncertainty and it's making me so worried as i don't want any medical intrusion and want everything to be over.

I'm preg and the father doesn't want to take the responsibility..(2 weeks to decide!!)?
I'm 21 and his 31, we were just seeing each other for about 3 months (as friends with benefits). The problem is that last week I found out that I'm preg, and I told him and he gave tons of reasons of why he wasn't ready to have a kid, and why I shouldn't keep it. He's not working at the moment, his mom passed away back in May, he will be moving to a different city (close by), etc. and that mine and his life will change. He don't exactly tells me to get rid of the kid, but he makes it obvious. I even told him that I would look for a different father but he didn't like the idea; he said that he wouldn't want another guy raising his kid if he was going to be around. I am truly confused, I got only two weeks to decide what I am going to do..I need advice please...

because my child is almost 12 and she still wets the bed so she has to wear a goodnight to bed every night
ive tried everything including no drinks an hour before bed
every night she complains and begs me not to make her wear the goodnight because it hurts and makes her feel uncomfortable and she said she cant get a good night sleep
she says she dont need them but i tried that for about a week and she still wet the bed
i feel so sorry for her because she has always worn some kind of diaper to bed and never been real comfortable
she always has diaper rashes and i have to keep ointment on it and has a hard time wearing tight clothes

I'm now in week 10, and I'm down to 126lbs. I've always been skinny (i model), but this is 6-11lbs underwsight for me, and 2lbs less than last week! Why why why? I'm not throwing up, I may be eating a BIT less, as things smell odd... but still. i don't know what to do... I'm tryign to eat healthy like always, and i'm doing low-impact workouts (yoga) but idk what to do. I'm worried aobut my baby, and my next dr. appt. isn't for 3 weeks.

How young is too young IYO? I ask because I'm 21 and have a 6 month old I've been extremely lucky in being able to stay home and my landlord has been extremely good to us, my husband works for her husband. My husband is 32 and is a good provider I still feel like people judge me because of those two things my age and my husbands age. I feel so blessed and love being a mom honestly it was sooner than I tought but I felt ready and was extremely lucky that I got pregnant on our first try. My son has changed my life around and I never could have imagined loving someone so much. How do you feel? How old were you when you had your first child and did you plan or did it just happen? What are your thoughts on being a mother?

My wife went to the WIC center, and i guess they stopped issuing the Similac baby formula checks and opted to go with Infamil baby formula. Any input? Is Infamil a good brand or as good or better then Similac? Thank you.
