Well it is the 9th month of the year.
Most people take holidays over the festive season.
Some couples only get this time off together.
And if they go away, what else is there to do during the evenings.
You could also say BAD planning.

During January, people stay at home (because it is too cold to go out), and cuddle up in bed. Also, some births are planned for the summer holidays.

Depending on where you live, what else is there to do on a cold day/night? Then you have the holidays and the holiday parties. With a mix of the three, yeah, there's bound to be many September babies.

It's usually cold and people stay at home more....It's the Christmas season and couples spend more time together. Don't forget there's also New Years Eve!!!! That's around the time I conceived my daughter and she's due September 20th.

It's cold. It's dark sooner. It's nicer in bed than anywhere else.
