How early and is this a common procedure?

hello,
i have regular 28-day cycle. and i get my period at 11pm. would i count that day as day one or do i count that as day 2. im just asking because it is really late in the day so im just a little confused

We have tried many things already...sippy cups with milk before laying down, going to bed with a toy or blanket, mixing water with the milk, etc. Please help us. They haven't used pacifiers since they were 10 months old, but we can't break the "bottle habit" at bedtime and naptime.

My 3 year old knows the rules, and like all 3 year olds, tests my patience from time to time, but when she explodes in public it's like 20 times worse!!! I was at target yesterday afternoon, and absolutely HAD to get groceries. My daughter was tired, so she pitched a horrible fit. I took her to the bathroom for a time out. She was screaming and yellling at the top of her lungs. The door knob jiggled, then a lady said, "Oh my god it's locked!" she then started beating on the door yelling at the top of her lungs, "I WILL CALL DHS, I WILL CALL DHS!!" I opened the door while my daughter was still sitting in time out and told her I wasn't even touching my child! I told her that I don't even spank!! Why can't I even put my child in time out in the bathroom anymore??! I was fuming mad at this point. My daughter very quickly calmed down and we continued our shopping. Does everybody really think that if a kid is crying in the bathroom, that you're beating them????

I was reading an article on the RU486 abortion pill. This seems like such an easy way out. I'm pro-choice, but it seems that this pill may end up being used as a form of birth control. I'm no expert, but if all a woman has to do is pop a pill, I can;t see the 'old' abortion method sticking around too long.

Is this a pill that can be prescribed by a regular physician or gynecologist? Or does the woman have to go through someone like Planned Parenthood?

How dare all of you judge her that way?Have you guys personally adopted or even dealt with a kid from the system? Yes there are some that just wanna be loved but most are just home wreckers no matter what you do for them. The state lies to you and paints a very pretty picture and when you sign,they turn their backs on you and act like they have never known you. They want to get rid of them just as badly.Lots of you referred to her as a bad parent....theres only so much even the best parent in the world can do!Whats so hard to understand that these kids just dont care??Its their way or no way and when you stand your ground,they flip!All the parenting classes in the world cant help you with certain situations!As far as that stupid question lots of you asked her,what are you gonna do with your own kids when they misbehave,send them back?...No stupid people, she brought them into this world and she MUST deal with it. second day back and i just told my supervisor "i'm still going to be here, i'm just going to close my door so i can pump." her reaction and my other's co-workers' reactions were all of surprise... like they think it's weird. i guess it kind of is to think that your co-worker is in the next office "milking" herself. what was your experience and how would you feel about your co-worker pumping at work (i work with women... or only tell the women that i'm closing my door to pump.) thanks =D

i applied for medicaid, and checked on my case information every day for the original 30 day waiting period. when i hadn't heard anything on my case, i called and spoke to a representative who told me i would need to provide certain information - proof of pregnancy signed by a doctor or nurse, my ID, and birth certificate before 15 days was up. i then received a letter in the mail stating that i needed to send in these documents in 10 days... i tried calling the worker multiple times to ask about getting an extension on the time allowed, but she never returned my phone calls. i faxed a letter; it was ignored. then i checked my case information online, and it said i was denied.

what can i do? i'm stressing out; i already waited 30 days + 15 to get this far only to be denied and ignored. now i am into my 4th month of pregnancy and haven't yet had any prenatal care; i'm scared and stressed out to the max. what should i do? i can't wait any longer and don't know where to go.

I just read a question about a woman who gave birth to a still born at 34 weeks, and being 34 weeks all of a sudden I became alarmed. I can't begin to imagine that heartache. So, what are the signs, if any that this might happen to you??

am a 12 year old girl going to a boys birthday party where I will be the only girl, and its for a 12 year old boy. Can you give me some tips on how to act all confidente and to not humiliate myself?? My daughter is almost 2 weeks old and she normally feeds about every two hours for the most part. But sometimes she seems to want to nurse for HOURS on end!! Last night I nursed her from 10 until 2am until she finally went to sleep and today I nursed her good at noon but everytime I held her or set her down she always was looking for my breast! What gives?

Do I keep nursing her? Or do I let her cry or what? I know she's getting plenty to eat, my milk supply is good and she's a good nurser and she has PLENTY of poopy and wet diapers. What's up with this???
