I really like both names. I would have to choose Abigail over Kaitlynn. Only because as a teacher the last few years I have had at least 2 or 3 Kaitlynns in every class. Although spelled differently it seems to be the most common name.

I like Abigail, especially if the girl has the nickname Abby.

Kaitlynn's getting pretty common. When I substitute teach, I frequently find at least one Kaitlynn (or some variation of it) in the class. Once, there were four Kaitlynn's, one of whom went by Katie, and the other by Kate which made it easier for me.

I like Kaitlynn better, but it's very common with all the spelling of the name
Abigail is a very nice name, and less common.
You can not go wrong with either
I you do not mind a very common name Kaitlynn
If you want a pretty, not common, go with Abigail

Both are great names but I like Abigail, you don't hear it as much as Kaitlynn

Abigail, for sure.... Kaitlynn (and all it's different spellings) is way too over-used these days. If you like Abigail, how about Meredith, Madeline or Priscilla?

OMG! i love Abigail! i mean its really unique and soo cute. kaitlynn or whatever is kinda typical the chances of someone having that name are as high as the chances of a hispanic person last name to be Lopez, ya know? (im mexican)
i wouldn't want my kid to be one of those who when the teacher calls attendance, has to say the first initial of your last name too!
