my cousin is pretty young, 22, she had her first two babies 14 months apart and she's pregnant again so the 2nd and 3rd will be about 16 months apart! how many of you out there have had babies this close in age? isn't it alot to handle? she's gotten pregnant every time on purpose and I just couldn't imagine having so many babies all at once!! i love all the time I get to spend with my one year old son just me and him.

I am 15 yr. old. and 2 months ago I let my ex-bf come over to my house w/o my parent permission (he is 15 too)ans my mother came home early from work and found him over here while we was here. My brother was here too. (he is 6). I am a good girl. I am not dumb or easy girl. I will let a guy pressure me to do something that isnt safe or that will hurt me now and the future.I am a virgin. While he was here, we didnt do anything but hang out and chill. He waas playing w/ my lil bro the whole time. but what could u really do in front of a 6 yr. old. He would tell on me anyways. But now my family treats me differently.& I am like on punishment for ever. Like it wasnt worth it. I just let him come over b/c it was summer time and i wouldnt never see him anyways. Like why dot they treat me like this. Like I am soo kind of slut of something. Would ou act this way if ur kids did this.

Okay this is for everyone with Children. Please answer each question.

1. Do you spank or whip your child?
2. How old is your child?
3. Do you consider your child to be well-behaved?

Please be honest with each question. I really would like to know the views on the matter. Any other details are welcome.

Personally i was "whipped" as a child, i do believe that my mom was alittle extreme when it came to discipline, but i know for a fact that she got that way because of her parents, my uncles are the same way.

Although I turned out okay some of my siblings carried that same "violent" behavior into their lives and now the ones in my family that have children are, in my opionion, extreme in their discipline as well, even though we all hated the way we were treated.

I do not believe in "whipping" a child, but i do think "spanking" is okay. I believe there is a difference between the two.

Let's say a 2-4 yr. old child isn't misbehaving (i.e. - s/he isn't running around causing trouble or s/he isn't doing anything bad), but when you tell him/her to do something, such as "pick up the toys" or "go outside to the living room", they don't listen. What should a parent do about this?

Do you still use the "naughty spot" or "naughty chair" method?

*Additional details (optional read)

I don't believe in spanking because my parents used to physically "discipline" me, but when I got old enough to endure the physical punishment, I stopped listening to them. I don't want my kids to be the same way. I want my kids to respect me rather than to fear me.

first of all, i'm very sorry and my heart goes out to you.
here's the question:
would you rather have not gotten pregnant at all than to have a still born child or misscarriage? or does the fact that you provided life, if even for a very short time, give you comfort and make you happy to have been pregnant?
thanks.

I hear a lot about eye infections, and I don't want to risk what eyesight my daughter actually has, but her prescription is so severe that even the featherlight lenses for her glasses are really thick. Her eye doctor has recommended getting her contacts, but I'm on the fence. She is a very responsible 13 year old - she sets her alarm clock in the summer so she can get up in the morning to do her chores before everyone else gets up and gets in her way. I'm pretty sure she could handle the responsibility, but I would like to know if anyone out there has contacts or has a child with contacts and will tell me a little bit about their experiences with them.

... since he has been off the bottle at one year of age, we have given him the soft nipple spill proof sippy cup. Now we are moving to a "big boy" cup during the day but at night he stilllikes to have milk before he goes to sleep. Help, how do we get him off the sippy cup completely? Night time is the worst because I think he sees it as his comfort. He loves his cup full of milk before he goes to sleep. I hope this makes sense. please help.

I am a mother of a two fabulous children, aged 6 months and 3 years. Whew, these are tough times! Can anyone tell me when I am going to feel a bit above water? I used to think one child was a handful, now that seems like a breeze. I just feel like there is never enough times, and I need at least 4 more hands.

I did a pregnancy test about a week before my period which was supposed to start on the 31st that read positive, I did one on the 31st that read negative. Yesterday I stared bleeding, a little more pain than usual and some clots. Is this a chemical pregnancy and leaving my body or is it possible that I just got a flase positive reading?

Lately all I can think about is being pregnant and having a baby. I stare at baby equipment websites for hours, picking out what I'd buy, and baby name websites ,thinking about the perfect name. I wander aimlessly around Babies R Us. My sister is pregnant with her first, and I'm thrilled for her, but also find myself so jealous at times My own 2 kids are 6 and 7 years old, I had them at 19 years old and I had always planned on having another one, but I got divorced a year ago. I have a wonderful new man, and he'll be moving in soon. He also wants another baby, and we often talk about having 1 or 2, in a few years. BUT... there are other times when I really stop and think about it and I suddenly become unsure about having another baby. I think about the struggles I have with my own 2 kids, the at-times-overwhelming stress I feel, i think about the expences, about the idea of "starting over", and I'm not sure I want to. I know I would never regret another baby.

I'm 33 weeks along and I am debating on breastfeeding. I really want to because its so much healthier for the baby but my husband has his own concerns. He's worried that my boobs are going to change and that they won't ever look the same again. He also fears that because of that he "won't be attracted to me." I was just wondering if anyone has had this problem before, how you handled it, and do your boobs look normal after you stop breastfeeding?

I am wanting to get pregnant this October/November. I am hearing that it takes about 2 to 3 months after quitting to get pregnant. Would it make things easier if I quit my birth control pills in the middle of the pack instead of waiting to finish the entire pack?
