my cousin is pretty young, 22, she had her first two babies 14 months apart and she's pregnant again so the 2nd and 3rd will be about 16 months apart! how many of you out there have had babies this close in age? isn't it alot to handle? she's gotten pregnant every time on purpose and I just couldn't imagine having so many babies all at once!! i love all the time I get to spend with my one year old son just me and him.

I guess I'm pretty close to that.... my first two are 20 months apart, and my 2nd and third children are 13 months apart. So for a month I could say I had three kids under the age of three, and none were a multiple birth! :)

I won't lie - I barely remember the first year of my third child's life - it was a blur, and I was exhausted. But frankly now that they are 6, 4 and 3, I wouldn't have it any other way. there are some benefits to having kids real close in age - they all have the same age-related interests, they all napped at the same time, I potty trained my last two at the same time, they were too young when the siblings arrived to have jealousy issues, etc... and now that they are older, they are so close and get along so great.

So bottom line, its not for everyone, but it worked great for me and I love it! :)

Some people REALLY enjoy kids and being a mom. Look at it like this: you know how you love spending time with you and your little one? She probably loved it so much that she decided to do it again...and again. I would think as long as the little ones are loved and well taken care of that she will be okay.

I really think it has to do with your preferences. I have two girls, 18 months apart. I wanted more than one kid, but didn't want to get thru the stay up at night phase just to have to do it all over again later.

the closer you have your children in age the easier they get along and will be closer..I've seen lots who are 4 or more years apart and they have nothing to do with each other..As long as she can handle them and they are all happy, it sounds great to me..

It's her decision, let her make it. I have a friend who had her girl in January and her son in December of the same year.
