i think either is fine as long as the indian name is not out of control and as long as people can pronounce it! the other thing is this is your child and you two need to talk about it and come to an agreement why dont you use and american name for the 1st name and an indian name for the middle name?....
i hope this helps

Why not find something you agree on? Give them an American first and an Indian second, the families can call them either. Also, find names that are Indian that sound American
Boy:
Aamond, Ajay, Ali, Arun, Daman, Damian, Ekram, Gagan, Kailas, Vijay, Sanjay, Ravi, Navin, Nayan
Girl:
Abani, Aishani, Nilaya, Alisha, Anika, Anisha, Priya, Rachita, Ramani, Daya, Ishana, Kalyani, Leela, Naiya

Amal is hope in indian, you can go with Amalia and Amel

i think an Indian name would be cool. original names might be spelled wrong every once in a while, but it gives your child identity. my name is jameilo so i know all about it, no one has ever made fun of me about it, so i think that will be fine.

I think that you should name your baby whatever you want. My son has a spanish name, Jose and my daughter's name was Brianna which is not spanish. I don't think anyone cared and I know I didn't, I just really liked the name Brianna. You should do what you want, these are your kids.
