I am wanting to get pregnant this October/November. I am hearing that it takes about 2 to 3 months after quitting to get pregnant. Would it make things easier if I quit my birth control pills in the middle of the pack instead of waiting to finish the entire pack?

No, it would really be best if you go ahead and finish the pack. Then, you will need to use a non-hormonal method until you are ready to start trying. I strongly recommend Natural Family Planning as your method of birth control, it will also make it easier once you start trying to get pregnant. I had 7 pills left in my package when I decided to stop. I got my period when the week was up, like normal. You can get pregnant any time after you stop taking your pills given if it's the right time I suppose. So far everything about my cycle is still normal and I'm planning on taking a hpt this weekend or next week. I know that I should have finished and you should but I felt like I'd have a head start. lol

Yeah, finish the pack you're on now, don't take any more after that, use alternate bc for the months until Oct, and that's enough time....then, go for it! Use these months to keep track of your period, so you can guestamate your ovulation cycle.
Good luck!

Definitely finish the entire pack that way you won't screw up your cycle. Good Luck :)

Finish the entire pack that way you get your period on time then you can estimate when you will get it again.
