Apparently it is very common for the first birth to be later than the original due date. Several women I know have been late with their first - but take it as time to yourself to prepare and relax because you are not going to have much time for that afterwards.

First one was a month early. Due Mothers day, born Easter Sunday

My first baby was 10 days late. I was due to be induced on the Wednesday but luckily went into labour on my own on Tuesday!
