I am 29 weeks pregnant, my doctor said my date of conception was january 31st. I slept with a different guy on january 17th is there anyway this baby could be this guys or not? Someone please help me.

i was on my birth control until the 25th of january. By the way smart remarks are not appreciated, i was raped ok. I have been married for 3 and have never cheated on my husband

If your date of conception was Jan. 31, then you probably had your period around Jan. 17. So if you had sex with a different guy before your last period, then it's probalby the guy you had sex with on Jan. 31. I suppose there's always a chance that it's the other guys, but it will depend on when the date of your period was and when you ovulate. If you know the date of your last period then you can input that in an ovulation calendar and it'll generally tell you when you conceived (or when you ovulated).

Paternity test will confirm. But there's a possibility. Men's sperm lasts up to 5 days. Not a big difference between conception on January 31st & January 22nd...

Sperm typically only lives in the woman's body for 3-4 days. If the doctor's dates are based on an ultrasound done at 12 weeks gestation or earlier, than you are likely safe. However, if it is based on the date of your last menstral period, and you have longer cycles than average, there is a greater chance that it could be the gentleman from the 17th.

Bless your heart. It can be hard to tell. Of course the doctor is not always accurate with the conception date. I would think that if you had sex with your husand on the 30th or 31st is would most likely be his. Good luck to you I hope you find the answers that you need and want.

If he's basing that off of an US from early in the pregnancy then the likelyhood is low. Still I would get a paternity test from both men since It is still an educated guess by the doctor and those dates are awfully close.

It is REALLY hard to pinpoint the day of conception...regardless of that, if you slept with more than one person anywhere close to that window then you need to get paternity testing done. Good luck, that probably won't be an easy thing to bring up.

if your date of conception was 31st then it must be his
if u have not had sex with any other man apart the one on the 17th then it most definitely is his.

Yes it is very possible, they usually can't get the date of conception down to the day, they can just give a ballpark. It looks as though you are going to have to have a paternity test.

Wow...umm...i don't think so...however this is what i would do if i were you. If you go to www.webmd.com and create an ovulation calendar it tells you what days you can have sex and still get pregnant. It might help. The only thing you need is the date of your last period. Hope it helps
